I try to the night before but usually never later than 8hrs before the puck drops

Yes, I suppose I could go back and look at how the puck line does but don't use it in this system.

That would depend on your betting strategy, I personally bet to recover what was lost plus 1 unit. Many others use a form of the labby line. it's totally up to you how you want to manage your money.
