The difference is that DJ is betting primarily on moneylines. Hitting 60% on moneylines is doable. Thinker has stated he won't be laying any juice higher than -110, and while I'll admit that hitting 60% isn't IMPOSSIBLE, it is certainly very, very unlikely.
But regardless, I wish you the BOL Thinker...or Falcon...or whatever your name is.

If he fails, who cares? How do you know if something will work/not work until you try it?
You guys are really brutal. Just because some of you are good at capping does not mean that you're the only ones.
Let people do as they wish. Just because they may not share the same capping strategy that you do does not mean they cannot cap games successfully

I remember seeing Thinker come into this forum many times over the past couple years and post a new thread with some sort of system or another, run it for about a week, fail, and leave. But people can get better at things with practice and time. He's doing well in his other thread (I'll leave my personal thoughts out of it) so let him try to do this here, as well.
It's a free forum, and there are A LOT worse threads currently going on here right now. Everyone has their right to start whatever kind of thread they want and organize it however they see fit. On the flip side, everyone has their right to post whatever comments they want and provide criticism where they see fit. With the good, comes the bad.
Create your own website if you don't want to deal with the crap which comes with the territory..

Let's get one thing straight, I would sincerely LOVE if Thinker could do what he says he's going to do, BELIEVE ME. All of our problems would be solved... but has it ever been that easy?
I'm not suggesting either that Thinker is trying to make it seem easy but when you post guarantees like "you will never-ever, lose your intital $1000 stake completely, no matter how badly we do", it comes off as misleading to people who don't understand what he means like I do. All I did was lay out the facts.
As for smdio (since your post sounds like it was directed at me), I do not make these comments because I think I'm a better capper, nor do I think my way is the ONLY way but it is certainly the most proven. Basic mathematics tells us that any bet is a losing one unless you can find errors in the line which provide positive expected value. This is basic probability theory which is fundamental to making money.
Now nothing Thinker has done has gone against this so I have no problem with any of his plays or systems. I do have a problem with guarantees, 'locks', misleading information, deceit, etc. and I do have a problem with fatalistic systems (chases, parlays, teasers, martys, labbys, etc.).
Anyways, I'm done with clogging this thread. I stand by what I said 100% about the two statements being hog-wash and so far, no one has come close to refuting that.

Thinker your thread is basically the same. No need to apologize to me. I actually would consider this a small challenge for the both of us. Even though I know I will win lol. Anyways good luck. One tip for anyone who want to question someone. You are wasting your time finding edges in a game by criticizing this guy. Regardless of the opinions stick to your business and hopefullly everyone will make money and get to the point of beating the books. Because thats what its about.

Doesn't detract from the point of the argument at all... Even if you can get down a $0.03 wager, you can't bet a quarter penny or even half a penny at any books.
