A solid $2.58 profit...lol  I never said you could retire off of this, I just wanted to try it out and see what happens. I'll proably keep doing it for a while, not like I have to do any research or anything.   I'm liking the NHL version better

Team Fav -.5 +122  Bet the no OT spread as long as it's +

Team Dog +167  Bet the moneyline (including OT) on dog

    Results

Team Fav wins in regualtion time, WIN$$$
Team Fav wins in OT, LOSE :(

Team dog wins in regulation time, WIN$$$
Team dog wins in OT, WIN$$$

Thanks again to Tomspeople for the tweak on the NHL system...

Ok lets start the home chase system today.  I'm going with Pit, Ott and Cal tonight.  Going to keep it small for now $20 unit.   Forget about Flo and TB, till we see how they play....

Wow 0-3 all teams blowing the lead.  Thats why we start small at the beginning of the season.  I'm going to skip LA as SJ has pretty much dominated them in the past....

My buddy at work is trying something i have never done.
He's chasing every team to win 1 home and 1 road under and over.....
the logic here is that all teams will eventually hit 1 over and under at home and away...
He says to me, why make things difficult...chase these to win 1 unit and with 30 teams for away and home...you will collect 60 units....eventually.
What do you guys think? At first glance, it makes sense...but at the moment i think he's actually down,
I think its too simple, and i'm sure people have tried it and it probably didn't work out.....having said that...i've never tried it.....
    anyone??

the logic here is that all teams will eventually hit 1 over and under at home and away...
He says to me, why make things difficult...chase these to win 1 unit and with 30 teams for away and home...you will collect 60 units....eventually.
What do you guys think? At first glance, it makes sense...but at the moment i think he's actually down,
I think its too simple, and i'm sure people have tried it and it probably didn't work out.....having said that...i've never tried it.....
    anyone??
The problem is that eventually he will get to a point where a team hits 5,6,7 or 8 unders in a row when he's betting the over and vice versa

Losing 8 in a row, you'd have to bet 256u+juice on the 9th bet to win 1 unit

that's true. i don't know how its gonna turn out...but there is another thing is that at the start of the season, you would also be betting on BOTH unders and overs for each game....1 for home and 1 for away right? and technically, with the juice, sometimes he will be wagering 2 units to win -0.5 units...
maybe if there were stop losses and some filters? he says that looking at past stats, all the chases should be complete before november...and it would've done well last season.

i don't know.....i just thought it was interesting and i'm bored as shit at work.

Think about this one.  You pick a 5 game sequence then choose a team and bet on it.  The sequence can be anything win=W  lose=L  so it could be W,W,L,W,L   or  L,W,L,L,W  Just chase till you win.....  In W,W,L,W,L  you would bet to win, if you lose then next game bet to win, if they lose, next game take the other team to win and so on....

If you have a pre-determined Win/Lose betting sequence of 5 steps (say W, L, L, W, W) what are the chances that you will be right on all 5 bets. The answer is 50% (or 1/2) multiplied 5 times by itself, or 1 in 32.

That means that if you tell yourself that for the next 5 bets you will be betting W, L, L, W, W regardless of the outcomes of the games, there is 1/32 probability that you will be hitting all your bets right. This is a very low probability.

However, the opposite is also true, that the probability of hitting all your 5 bets wrong is also 1 in 32. That means, that if you use a pre-determined sequence of W, L, L, W, W, by using a 5 step Martingale betting method, you have a 31/32 or 97% chance that one of the 5 bets will hit right. Now this is a very high probability.

One important thing that you should know is that it is not unlikely to get the exact opposite pattern: L, W, W, L, L even if it will happen 3% of the time. The fact is, if you bet your pattern (W, L, L, W, W) continuously, statistically you should hit the opposite pattern within the next 32 bets. The result would be the lost of all your winnings. We don’t want this to happen.

So, the strategy will be to change the pattern after every winning sequence. This way you will be attacking the next 5 bets, with an equal probability of 97% winning chances from session to session.

SRTZEE, when you say WLLWW, do you mean bet to win on Team A, and if they lose, bet on Team B (betting against team A) ...etc?
Also, I don't understand what you mean by changing the patterns??

So....Nay to my co-workers chase method?

its supposed to be under and over for both home and on the road.
So all together if you chased all 30 teams, and assume all goes well and u hit all the games, you should pocket 120 units.

Pick a pattern WLWWL or LLLWW or LWLWL whatever you want.  Then just bet the pattern for the same team.  For this pattern WLLWW  you bet the team to win, if they win then start over again, if they lose then the next game take the other team to win and so on, doubling up on your bet... You have a 97% of winning one game in a 5 game pattern....

I haven't been doing it, trying to many other things.  I'll start 2 starting Friday night.

NJ---- W,W,W,W,W  I already knew the schedule and they will win 1 of their next 5.  So I'll do another

    OTT----W,W,L,L,W

Both teams play tomorrow and I will bet these patterns posted here $10 unit

As far as the NBA system goes for taking the team on the road when it is east vs west/west vs east, this system went undefeated last year I believe.  Something like 58-0.  I will be going with it all year.  You just do exactly what he said take the road team, buy 3 points if you lose the first game double up on the next game and so on.  The exceptions are if the home team has one of the best home records then you do not take that game.  Also if one of the star players on the team that you are supposed to take is inured, then it is a no play.  I would buy into this system, you can make a lot of money.

I believe there were 2 losses last season with this system. I am pretty sure NJ was one but I dont remember than other, maybe BOS.

Every time you buy 3 points you are risking 170 to 100. Once you start chasing you are paying big money to win 1 unit and if you lose the 3 game series which happened last season there may be no profit if you won the rest of the season.

FYI.....Just so you're aware and despite what sites like "NBA Never lost" and I'm not sure if Morrison advertises "0" losses or not but the East / West NBA System DID have 1 or 2 losses.....What happens is after the season is over each year, these people go back over the losses and figure out a filter that would have eliminated that loss and then they can say we were ??? - 0.

The truth is that there will be a loss or two.    Dont get me wrong...It is still a great way to play and we use versions of it with filters but I don't want to see anyone get
wiped out like many  people did in baseball believing that there has NEVER been a loss and by completely out betting your bankroll thinking you'll never lose.

Boston lost 2/19-2/22 last year...   New Jersey lost 1/19-1/22... Those losses include the 3pt buy if you are buying the points.

Just use your head and don't out bet your bankroll and lets all make a ton of money this NBA season
