I've been trying something that seems to make more sense, but it's actually doing worse. I've been waiting 1 hour before a game starts to check oddsportal/flashscore. I figured that that gives more people time to put their bets in. Unfortunately, my results are also much different than yours. You seem to be doing them all at once for the entire day, posting them in the early afternoon, and your results are a lot better than mine are.
Another thing I've noticed is the threshold of the # of people that liked a game on oddsportal. I've noticed that on some of your picks, only 3 people picked a game on oddsportal. I had been setting my minimum # of 5 people to determine the ROI.

Hmmm...that's very interesting Steve. The logic you produced makes perfect sense, and one would think that those filters are giving you an advantage. However, the numbers tell a different story. You are absolutely correct that some of my picks are based on a small number of total users. Sometimes I just get on a roll when I'm going through the matches and forget to check. Our results represent a relatively small sample size still (approx 60 picks in 4 days), so lets keep going and see where we end up. Keep going with your filters and we can compare stats in a week or so. I'd love to make a little graphic if you could make a list of what your ending NET UNITS was for each day.

So I'll post what I get right now, running them all at once for the entire day. This was started at about 9am EST and finished about 9:30am EST. After doing this for about 4 days now, I really think it has to do with what time of day we're doing it, because doing it an hour before the game starts does not work at all.
Boydo has been doing it once a day, posting in the early afternoon, and his results have been good doing that. There's a lot of morning games, so maybe the system should be ran twice a day? I notice that there's not as many users that have picked for the afternoon/night games, so I'm thinking maybe run all the morning games at once, and then do the afternoon/night games at once?

This whole thing is very puzzling Steve. I'm gonna try to keep posting around my normal time but that won't always be possible. I'm off work for the summer so once it starts up again I will be busy in the middle of the day.

Yeah, I'll get it figured out. It's almost like it comes down to luck of when you run all the numbers, but I'm assuming it evens out in the long run. We get many of the same selections, but not all of them. There's some that I get that you don't, and vice versa.
That's all going to change based on when you run the numbers, because anybody can add another pick, changing the ROI and giving different results. I setup some tracking today in Excel, and I'll track it over a week to see when I'm getting the best consistent results.
I did get similar results to you today, so that's good. Thanks for sharing this!

See, yesterday was a winner for me, as well, but tracked with doing just the morning selections all at once in the morning, and then the same for the afternoon/night games all at once in the early afternoon. If I did the entire day at once in the morning, it lost. If I did them 1 hour before the game started, it lost (that's not sustainable for me anyway, I'd have to be in front of my computer every hour)
