i don't have time for a proper handicapping so system is all i have going for me at the moment. it is only one information you can use when deciding if it's a play or not... simple 4/4 mechanics can give you 60%... any extra effort can give you better results

in phase 2 (if i ever get there)... i'll  keep separate records for 'pure' system and 'cut' version... the one not betting against aces

Do you incorporate any variables, or is your system totally  'disciplined'  aka: taking the Orioles against the BlueJays, and their 'ace' Halladay? would you consider taking TOR today? or a scratch? Is your play BAL? The outcome should be interesting, based on the success ratio of your formula..

 

by the way, I am curious, who are the 'metropolitans' ?

for now i play only those games that fall into definition of this system...

my rule is to never revert your 'possible' plays... better to scratch 

so until i reach 20u i will play all system games

i'm working on my database for this year and will try some real capping.

obviously it's better not to think too much... not even Halladay can pitch 11 innings

indians are not within system parameters. TB has 4 wins in last 10 games, same for Dbacks. Atlanta is 5-5 in last 10

dodgers were away team yesterday... so it couldn't be a play... they won but that won't go in the system records

Ever looked into any systems with many years of success in NFL/NCAAF? Football is coming soon! 

I can backtest many more systems... just too lazy to do them all... 2 months late already for this season

not sure how this system will go from here... let's hope for at least 20 more

i'm from europe... NFL/NCAAF are still off my radar. baseball is my choice for now. I played it a little, now softball only. and as i understand it's easier to make a buck betting MLB. i'll dabble with it for a while...

OK... I still speak your language when it comes to Soccer or should I say in International Speak... .FOOTBALL (The Original).

I would love to hear about that sport. It has the most potential due to the worldwide involvement..MANY MORE TEAMS. More potential.

Bad thing about the system.. you have to watch the census to the last minutes before tip-off and for an alloted amount of given points. 

I use the idea that the average bettor, thus the census, is dumb selecting the outcome to whatever play..basically go against the public.... knowing a big proportion of the games are rigged. 

I personally know of people that involve with such but never given heads due to the secrecy and high status involvement that would get me and the other in trouble. Ha. Plus, it's obvious that a good number of them are rigged. It's impossible to monitor and prevent a game to be compromised (rigged) due to millions of dollars involved in the making. Sports is the easiest money maker for wise crooks without getting into trouble. 

soccer/football betting... definitely has some value betting dogs. but those dreaded ties can ruin you. i'm trying for years to figure out some system but nothing solid yet. not many stats to analyze there. only recently could get some useful data, but only for major leagues. 

european hockey looks like a good opportunity, but that is 6 months away

rigging matches is old tradition in soccer... either for the benefit of the teams (when relegations and promotions time comes) or for a big profit.  in these region (Balkan) there is a minor 'celebrity' guy that is famous for fixing results in soccer, basketball, handball (he rigged a 0:0 score in handball!!)

there are big variations from league to league in scores... some average 3.4 goals per match, some 2 for example..

that is a topic for another thread...  MLB time for now
