I will do this like hockey.  I will never chase more than 3 games (and may personally abort chases after 2 games and carry over losses).  If the chalk is too heavy in game 1, I will play the -1 line to reduce the juice.

A 3-0 day last Thursday started the season off right for me (Reds, Braves, & Yankees)!  Today the Cubs came through and the Yankees & Cardinals are pending.  Even though I have screen shots to prove it, I won't count anything from this past weekend or today. 

Tuesday:
White Sox (@ KC) - The last time the Royals swept the White Sox in KC was in 2003.  I'm hoping the 7-year trend continues!

Red Sox (@ Cleveland) - The Red Sox haven't been swept in Cleveland since 2001.  It's only went to game 3 twice ('04 & '01).  I like the Red Sox to right the ship here.

Reds (vs. Houston) - Swallow the chalk and take the Reds to win one of these games!

Blue Jays (vs. Oakland) - Toronto can be had at a good value.  I like them to win one of these!

Ouch!  The Red Sox put it to me here. 

Sorry, guys.  I hope some of you bailed on game 3 (or didn't play it at all).  I told myself I was going to abort the chase, but then I ended up playing it to win back half of my game 1 & 2 losses.   Rough start to the baseball system.  Thankfully, I'm still positive for the young season...barely, but had they really put a dent in it.   Sorry again, bad call by me for sure.

This weekend I am playing the following series:

Reds (@ Arizona) - The Reds should get one of these against the Diamondbacks.  They are simply the much better team. 

Giants (vs. St. Louis) - The Cardinals aren't very good this season.  They have not swept the Giants in SF in recent history (researched through 1999).  It only went to game 3 once (2002).  I love this play.

Twins (vs. Oakland) - The A's haven't swept the Twins in Minnesota since 2000.  That was back at the Metrodome and with a 91-win A's team against a 69-win Twins team.  This is a solid play for me. 

Mets (vs. Washington) - The Nationals have only swept the Mets one time in their history as the Nationals.  That was in 2005 in a September series (which I never bet on baseball in September anyway).  I don't love this chase, but I like it enough to play it for a smaller unit.

Again, I apologize for the Red Sox call.  Let's bounce back this weekend!  Anyone else dumb enough to chase the Red Sox to win one against this Yankees this weekend?  I might.  0-9 start?  Doubt it.  I definitely won't officially play it, though!

Chase record total = 3-1

The Mets & Reds close out this weekend's set of series with a couple of game 2 wins!  Those of us who were brave enough to ride the Red Sox were able to pick up some of the Cleveland losses back! 

I'm looking over the series for Mon/Tue starts now and will post later tonight.  Thanks again!

Game 1 = 4-4
Game 2 = 3-1
Game 3 = 0-1
Chase record total = 7-1

Here's what I got starting Monday & Tuesday:

RED SOX (vs. TB) - Chasing Boston at Fenway has been money for 10+ years. TB is down this season and the Red Sox should use this to help their fans forget their awful start.

RANGERS (@ Detroit) - Best lineup in baseball. I feel pretty confident that they will get one of these.  I may skip game 1 since Verlander is throwing for the Tigers.  Tough call. 

WHITE SOX (vs. Oak) - I like the White Sox at home again this season. They didn't get swept at home last year (I don't count September series, because we don't chase in September).

YANKEES (vs. Balt.) - The Orioles are the 3rd most profitable team so far (behind Cleveland and Texas). I will be chasing them many times in the future, but not here.  Yankees at home are almost automatic for chasers. 

PHILLIES (at Wash.) - This should be a slam dunk. Hopefully we get it out of the way in game 1 or the juice could get nasty by game 3.  Something else to consider...the Phillies games have went over the run total 7 times in their 8 games (the other one was a push).

BRAVES (vs. Florida) - Atlanta was a cash cow at home last season. They only went to game 3 one time (vs. Milwaukee), and they won that one. I think the trend continues here against Florida.

I believe the simplest remedy would be not to exceed 110 characters and spaces combined, per line.

What do you think about tor@sea chase beginning 4-11 ?

By the way, thank you for the great work and dedication.

great system i try to run the same thing but mixing in some road +100 to +145 road dogs to gain alittle more units ..... keep up the good work

Artenfay, I may chase Toronto after tonight's game.  I can't bet against
Felix (especially when he lost his last game). 

Nice early win on the Rangers today.  Glad I stuck with them, but wish
I had went the full unit.

I am adding the LA Angels as a series play.  I just researched the Indians past 12 years and they have never won more than 4 games in a row on a West Coast road trip.

Yankees, Phillies, Braves, White Sox, and the Rangers close out the previous series.  Red Sox game C was cancelled due to rain.  I will take the game 1 & 2 losses and spread them over the next 5 plays. 

Alright, time to get ready for some weekend series!  Right now I am up a big ole' $93 on the season (thank you to whoever nudged me on the Minnesota play).  I feel fortunate to be positive at this point, though, and hope to just keep building up! 

Here's who I am playing this weekend:

Royals (vs. Mariners) - Seattle's offense is awful.  They should be road fade money all season!

Dodgers (vs. Cardinals) - The Dodgers didn't get swept at home last season by a National League team.  Plus, we get Kuroda and Kershaw in this series! 

Reds (vs. Pirates) - Reds at home will continue to make me a lot of money this season, I hope! 

Phillies (vs. Marlins) - I will ride Phily at home until it blows up!  I will always play them -1 in the first game if the juice is too heavy (-150+). 

Leans: Atlanta, SF, BOSTON???

Season record:
Game 1 = 8-6
Game 2 = 4-2
Game 3 = 0-1
Chase record total = 12-1  (* Red Sox/Rays game 3 was postponed)

Angels closed out the Indians in game 2 (forgot to update the record with that)!

hey great system ... what im trying to do sometimes is wait until the 2nd game and pick up some value on there and chase only for 2 games with games i am unsure of ... great work
