Questions on MLB Strategy

I am trying to develop my own MLB system through the use of many assorted stats. I wanted to just get some opinions on what weight people give to:

  1. Umpires
  2. Starting Pitching Recent Performances+ Overall Yearly
  3. Performance
  4. Bullpen Pitching Recent Performances+ Overall Yearly Performance
  5. Recent Lineup Production + Overall Performance against league and opposing Starter
  6. Stadium

I have plenty of stats relating to all of the aforementioned factors was just trying to get input from as many people as I can.

If there are some factors I am not mentioning that you feel are relevant, please let me know. I had considered team speed+defense as factors as well though I don't want to give those much weight at all.

Hey, Day/Night is a "sub-factor" for SP and the Lineup Production factors.

throw day and night out. teams play less games in the day and it is a smaller sample to pull stats from.  i have founf a way to use the whip with recent form and innings pitched tocome up with a very good totals formula, i have used it the last 3 years and do very well. i dont even consider capping baseball untill a pitcher has pitched 5 games.

I agree, don't start betting baseball until June 1st.
