Playing both sides of a game...chase?

Does anyone have any experience with chasing both sides of a play? I am currently at the 5th loss of a chase system that I have been following (using a labby) and I was thinking that I would have cut my losses if I had also played the other side of the game on each day.  Does anyone have any experience with doing this?  Thank you.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I would chase the losing side.  So, let's say that I am wagering O/U's, I would wager one unit on each.  If the under loses that day, I would chase (or labby) the under the next day while still betting another unit on the over.  I hope it's clear..

yes, you could minimize your loss, but you minimize your profit as well. you may as well only bet the difference between the chase and the other side. 

i call it taking the middle, you have to have different casions in vegas anyways or bet sites 

Possibly could do this in baseball where 2 pretty even teams have a 5 game series vs each other. Chase both teams to win 1 game in the series.
