Really liked the Eagles yesterday. Of course hindsight is 20-20. I played the ML (loser).
Should I have split my play, half on the ML, half taking the points. Any rule of thumb?

My friend always boxes exactas at the track.
I sometimes do and sometimes just play it straight.
If ML hits you win a bunch more, and then wish you had it all ML if you split play. --- I like the split play better, but really just a matter of what you think.
So---No rule of thumb......Only rule of Elder!

Rickbrown, at the track, always play at least $1 on reverse (or box), I always say you can't handicap a race and get shut out. Elder, ML should always be prime play, but you can tease with others if you're afraid of covering without SU win, but odds are generally in your favor, for example, if you played all 4 NFL dogs on ML this weekend, you would still be significantly ahead, usually % in your favor. Don't play ML favorites, and don't take points if pointspread less than 3, if possible, always play ML.
