For the duration of the olympics, I'm going to have my dog make my picks for me. Her name is Keisha -- don't ask me, my girlfriend and I "agreed" on the name.. anyways, this kinda thing has probably been done before by others, but I wanted to make a thread that I can use to keep track. Also, the restaurant I was working in just closed down and I'm jobless and bored. And there's no NHL for a few weeks.
Moving on.. she's a beagle, which makes this such a sweet system! Beagles have incredible noses, and therefore should be able to sniff out some winners. So when she has a winning day, she'll get something special to eat at the end of the night. When she has a losing day, she spends the night on the roof. Just kidding, but really, I have absolute faith in her.
For whatever events I choose to bet on (there will be alot), I'll place 2 bets on 2 individual pieces of paper, ball them up and toss them on the ground, and release her to pick one.
Every play will be risking $10.
Men's 5000m Speed Skating -- FIELD WINS GOLD (+335)
Women's Hockey -- SWEDEN -3 (-135)
Women's Hockey -- SWE/SWI o6 (-120)
