NHL Home System

This is an attempt to apply a system that worked for baseball to another sport, in this case hockey. An attempt with NFL football is ongoing but the juice from ML plays is killing it.

Last years top ten home game leaders are:

2009-2010 NHL 
WSH 30 
VAN  30 
CHI   29 
PHX  29 
SJ    27 
NJ    27 
OTT  26 
DET  25 
PIT   25 
BUF 25 
ANA 25 
MIN  25

That's twelve teams due to the 25 home win tie at the bottom of the list.

We will play ML with OT.  We will chase losses. I will post units but the strategy is about which games to play and not which money management scheme to use. Apply any MM you like.

Opening day has only one play. Minnesota is on the list but Hartwell Areena in Helsinki, Finland is not their home ice.

pitts is not a play, for what i know is you have to play a 6 game homestand, and pitt only 2 home game and 1 away and 3 homegame. there is no play for today. Let me know if i am wrong thank you.

so milkman you got any system that play for NHL yet? i think the 9 oct there are some game to play right?

If you have a look at the NHL schedule you won't find a lot of six game homestands. I am trying to adapt to each sport to see if it can use this strategy.

Good teams always beat bad teams. No back testing needed.  I do an MLB system that is simular. Yankees good. Indians bad.

It's a good idea to have some measure to drop a team that obviously is not playing like last year. In Baseball I dropped teams that had lost seven games in a row (home and away). I haven't posted anything for Hockey yet but maybe I should adopt the same measure. What do you think, is seven losses a good number for the NHL or should it be higher?
