so... i have another account that i havent used in so long i completely forgot i had some money in there.... 43.60 which isnt much so i came up with a bunch of parlays for todays nfl games, i won a couple, lost a couple, but there's still one open and if i hit it..... well i might start using that account again.... or just cash it out.... in any case i could use some karma, the last bet is on the rams ML and they are trailing heading into the half i've lost parlays before but not on the last game on an 11 teamer.... dont do this to me STL!!!!!!!!!!!

couple things... first off... F%$k the rams!!!! they really did everything possible to lose that game. From not challenging ?able calls, poor clock management, and TERRIBLE execution( see bradford playing catch with sea linebacker). me bradford... Moving on.
Due to the unimpressive record since i started the thread, and huge performance swings, i'm going to be a little more selective with my selections. The selections will still be made using the same system described above but with stricter(if that is a word) qualifications for action. I will also be incorporating a sort of "power play" which I will simply dub $ plays. The "$ plays will only be on games with an exceptional chance at winning, and they will be $20 vs the $10 normal play. One way or another this profit/loss margin is going to start moving. BTW. if anyone is paying attention the nba record is pedestrian at best at this point, but the nhl picks are doing very well. (3-1 tonight) I will come up with an overall record for individual sports when I have more time.

I will be testing another strategy starting tomorrow. Through 80+ picks, this system is one game under .500. Im not giving up on it, but I will be adding a new strategy that I will try to use with the current strategy. Instead of watching the streaks until I decide to play against them, I will try to catch streaks when they start and try to ride those streaks for about three to four games and then bet the other side as I have been doing. I have never done this before, so it will basically be trial and error. The way that I have been making the picks was done with no emotion or stat tracking other than w-l, o/u, ats. I do think that I will have to do some more work this way as far as trying to pick teams that are about to start a streak. The bets will be in the same increments 10 for regular plays and 20 for "$ plays". This may be absolutely retarded but everyday i'm looking at every nba team, and every nhl team, and watching certain teams win 2, 3, 4, 5 in a row, so I feel like I am leaving money out there. I may add or subtract some things. I'm going to sleep on it. Tomorrow I will have come up with a p.o.a.

Those are todays normal plays. I have done some thinking since last night, and I have come up with a new strategy. I have back tested this strategy for every team from the beginning of this season. I realize that's not very far so I will continue to dig. I will say that so far, the numbers that I have come up with are not bad. 55.6% winners. I'm not ready to roll this out yet but I think it looks pretty good so far.

I have decided to run with it, all i'll say for now is that it is for nba only(at this point) and is ATS picks only. I am not 100% comfortable with it yet, so I will backtest it another year when I get the time. 09,10 look pretty good, but i'll feel better if 08 is good as well.
