New system for wagering on MLB- feedback encouraged

Hello all. I have been doing a little dabbling in systems of strategy. I actually used this system for a short while last MLB season towards the end. It actually worked really well which is why I am posting this. Please look over this strategy and pick it apart or embrace it. That is what this post is for. We are all here to make money so have at it!!!

If you start out with $1280.00 in your account and you bet 10.00 a game you would have to lose 8 times in a row if you start off by making 10.00 bets

So, if you lose a bet, you double up in the next one. 10/20/40/80/160/320/640/1280

Lets say the average payout is +130 in baseball (runline) and you win 1.5 of these a day (in baseball there is usually an afternoon game, early evening game, and a West Coast late game) so there is a solid enough sample body to choose from each day! The frequency of baseball games is what makes this stratgegy work.

What would that net us for the baseball season? And at what point would it make sense for us to bump it to $15-20 per game?

I think you would need a purse of $2560.00 to be able to put 20.00 on each game (at what point in the season would you be at this point where your purse has been built up to 2560.00 using this formula? That would give you 8 shots to win. 20/40/80/160/320/640/1280/2560

From basic math, if you win a 20.00 bet a day for the whole season you would roughly win $3450.00 the entire season. But, there will also be days when you win multiple bets and lose multiples. Also, baseball pays out much higher on the runline so you will get lines at +160 or so too. In addition, if the system works right you will probably want to bet more on each game as you increase our purse. 40/80….etc

Axl - I don&#x27;t want to sound harsh but it seems you&#x27;ve been here since November 2005 and what you&#x27;ve proposed is a simple martingale chase strategy. Sounds like a great idea until you&#x27;re putting 1280$ to win 10$. Nothing new here except for the specific bet option you&#x27;ll be using. The frequency of baseball games also increases the chances of hitting a horrible bad luck streak. Need to see both sides of the coin.But, BOL either way, just as a thought, I don&#x27;t actually condone ALL chase strategies but it seems that they all crash and burn when they depend on personal picks and not some random filter.

Yeah, better to be skeptical than to be convinced.I know it might be painful to do this but my advice is to "simulate" it once baseball starts or even better, try it out in any other professional sport you are comfortable with. I say painful because it might work and you&#x27;ll have nothing to show for it but it&#x27;s gonna be way less painful than losing 1 grand to when trying to make 10$.

I do something like this every year. It&#x27;s kind of complicated but I double a bankroll every year doing it. Basically I start with $1000. Every day I bet 3 &#x2B;120 dogs to win 2/10 of 1% of my bankroll ($2.00 with a $1000 bankroll on the fist day). I run 3 different lines and adjust my bankroll everyday. I&#x27;ll get into more detail later if anyone wants me to but my cleaning people just walked into the house and I always feel guilty watching them work. I&#x27;ll update this later with the whole process if people want to hear it.Kev

I also saw someone post another system where you wager on  the runline and also on the moneyline for the dog.  So, you would bet say for instance 10.00 on -1.5 at &#x2B;130 and also on the moneyline dog at say &#x2B;140     so, the only way you can lose on this system is if the home team wins by one run......not a fan of this system, but just a note

Ax&#xD;&#xA;I just started in on baseball this week so this is all I have.&#xD;&#xA;Try Top teams away getting &#x2B; money, but not against a top five team.&#xD;&#xA;Or fade bottom teams at home giving &#x2B;money but not against a bottom 5 team.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;I have researched it only a little bit and found several 5 and 6 game losing streaks. Not too bad.&#xD;&#xA;See if anyone can find  7 and 8 game losing streaks or other Martingale killing streaks.&#xD;&#xA;How about the top five teams after May 1 and the bottom five after May 1. There isn&#x27;t a pick every matinee, early evening and late evening though, so this might not fit your system.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Good luck.
