New Series Chase

Nothing more than chasing a certain series based on my toughts. I will chose at least 4 series I like and will chase it till im up 1 unit.  Im doing this more for research than anything.  Ive been hitting at a high rate but not tracking it, so this will help. Each bet will be for $100 unless a loss incurs, then my bet will be 100 plus whatever i lost before.  Once I win, Im done betting on that series.


SERIES STARTING 04/18/10

KC @ TOR (-113)
I look for Toronto to bounce back here after getting swept in there last series.  KC will win one game this series but thats ok, im just looking to get 1

Cubs @ Mets (+120)
As long as the mets can get a solid outing from one of there pitchers the Mets should be able to steal on at home, and im not sold on the cubs yet. Plus i like the odds.

Stl @ Ariz (+130)
Like the odds more than anything here.  I know its touch b/c its the cards but I think the backs will steal one here, hell they Mets beat the cards.

Bal @ Sea (-165)
Dont like the juice but you gotta fade the Os right now.  Seattle is playing good ball and should not have a problem getting a win this series.


If one of the teams losses I will be chasing them to win all series until they win.  If no win occurs then its an "official system loss"

May have more plays but for series starting tuesday, this should be it....

Do to a conflict with another system I follow, I will be canceling my bet on TOR and will add another series later, so this are my only plays so far....

Sf has been hot but SD is coming off a home sweep and I think they'll be able to steal one from there rivals at home.  Like the odds too

Did you run this last year, and if so what was the record?

No i didnt back test it, b/c there really isnt a way to back test.  Its all about the gut feeling....i try to find a series where i think a tm is gonna win at least one gm, and then chase if they lose....i also try to av oid high juice and tend to pick a lot of dogs...i favor the home tm most of the time...unless i get good odds on the visitor

Yea I figured there was no way to backtest this but thought maybe you had used a similar approach in previous seasons.

I am developing a severe hatred for MIL.  They have to be one of if not the most inconsistent teams in MLB.  They would have caused two losses in my sweep chase system last year.  They destroy PIT giving us a loss this year, and now they can't do crap at home!    I am considering not betting for them or against them for the rest of the season in my systems.  I am really pulling for them to get the win for you tomorrow!

yea no kidding MIL is as bad as TOR, hopefully they can pull it out today or there goes my great run, although ill still be up...
