Okay this should be fun, and hey, if it starts to be profitable, then why not start playing it. With a clean slate to test it on I am going to test Parlays and Teasers using smdio's NBA Road Chase (which is basically play a 3-game chase on any team that starts a 3-game Road Trip with a couple other filters thrown in).
The Road Chase system buys 3 points for the Road team in a qualifying play.
What I am going to do is simply track and not bet on these to begin with. I am going to make a 1 unit each bet on a Parlay as well as a 5-pt Teaser (least juice) when there are days when there is a play on more than one team. It will not matter whether the teams are playing an A, B, or C game in their respective series. It will not matter how many teams are involved. I will simply track a 1 unit wager on both a Parlay including those teams for the day, as well as 1 unit on a 5-pt Teaser including said teams. I will use the closing covers line for easy record-keeping. Unfortunately this could cause some losses due to line moves toward the teams we will play, but you have to track somewhere.
So let's just say a unit is $100
Today is the first day of a possible bet as both portland and Sacramento are both A bets in the other system.
Therefore:
$100 to win $260
Parlay Portland /Sacramento
$110/100
5-pt Teaser on Portland/Sacramento
I am NOT betting on these, I am just testing to see if these strong plays are strong enough to Parlay and Tease.
