I think his system can work only if you stick the same unit size as you start with for ever. For example, if you start with 1 unit = $25, you have to stick to that unit value for ever. He uses 6 game chase and if he loses 6 games he starts over. He has proven that he doubles the bankroll at much higher rate than he loses 6 games. So if you keep increasing your unit size as you make profit, the loss would be higher when you lose.
I am doing both his series now since he offered the full year at 3 months cost. I have my unit size fixed at 1 unit = $20 now. You just need just under $1500 bankroll to do $20 per unit.

i'm actually trying it on my own without his picks. so far so good. I do have thoughts that I could possibaly join later if he's gonna run another special.

When you do it on your own the key is when you get to 4th level and higher. I was doing well but when it gets to higher levels, you get nervous and pick the wrong games (obvious public favorites) and they bite you in the ass.
It sucks that you missed the special offer because it is a huge value compared to the regular subscription cost. I wouldn't pay the regular cost for full year, it is insanely high. You should send him an email and see if he would still give you the offer. Tell him something like that you were out of town and planned to sign up when you got home but the offer is not there anymore.
