Baseball is the ultimate grind. A good basic strategy for betting is to stick with 1-2% of your total bankroll torisk per wager. This may not be "cool, or sexy", but it is sound.
Flat-betting is also recommended. The Kelly-Criterion is an advanced strategy (and a fundamentally flawed one) and should only be used with great care (and restraint).
The amount of games bet per day is subjective. If you feel you have a positive win expectation on a given game it may be worth a wager, depending on your risk threshold.

I heard that the full constant or fractional kelly criterion is the best long term system. But I don't understand how the system works when finding the winning percentage is subjective.

It's all about what you feel comfortable with as far as making picks and also what kind of risks you are willing to take. But as a general rule Bauer's advice is good for baseball.

I'm not too good at handicapping in baseball yet (only my 2nd year gambling), but I've been studying trends of line movements which makes me wanna focus on scalping (especially on MB). Also I was hoping to focus on middling on college sports in the near future, but not sure if it is actually worth it because the odds are against you to hit the middle.
