Money management help?!

I'm quite the novice when it comes to sports betting and even more so when it comes to the subject of money management. It seems as though most people say Kelly Criterion is the way to go, and there are a lot of people I see using labouchere(sp?) lines. I really don't grasp the concept of either one, nor have I really tried to yet.

I was just wondering if someone could give me some good suggestions for some reading about good money management. I know I could google search and find some good info, but I could be wasting a lot of time reading bad info just looking for the good.

I'm not asking anyone to search for me, but just if you have some good resources handy, I would greatly appreciate a point in the right direction.

Kelly method is great if you understand your win % and expect to do if for a long period of time and by long I mean keep compounding it for years!
