I'll continue to look at games, circle them, and make spot plays based on the outstanding past results...also; based on the previous season's results, I plan on uping the ante (MM) I'm also looking at attaching the perimeter of the RL to advantagous situations....take care

s_N in this example above, what would your hypothetical 'C' game wager look like being down 10units after games A&B? After a game 'C' loss? 'D' loss ..... etc.  I'm interested in your approach.

You mention 'split-martingale in this thread' on the next page, is the above an exaple of this strategy?  If not could you kindly post a hypothetical worst case scenario series for those of us that are interested.

All the best, keep it green!moneybag

To answer your first question, the MM formula employed on a justified chase with perpetual winning results would have to be a 'double down' application +10u taking it to the end of the road. Yes, it's going to cost you (but only if a loss occurs, by which are rare, and far in between)
Yes, the above is a perfect 'example' of the Split-Martingale MM strategy as pronounced...

    Also,

A great deal has to do with the teams, and prices involved, making MM formula's unlimited in application...

Yes, it's going to cost you (but only if a loss occurs, by which are rare, and far in between)Yes, the above is a perfect 'example' of the Split-Martingale MM strategy as pronounced...Take care

I will be using a martingale , but feel free to use a progressive betting sequence that you are most comfortable with. If you are risk adverse to betting ( 1-2-4-8-16-32 ) then as an alternative you might try ( 1-2-4 and repeat 1-2-4 knowing that you have limited your exposure while still having lost some % of units.)

The system itself is very straightforward and mechanical. Any of the 30 MLB teams can qualify by being shutout in a game. Once they qualify, we start our 6 game series by betting gainst them. It doesn't matter where they play the next six games, it doesn't matter who they are playing. It doesn't matter who's pitching, all the matters is we are betting that they will lose one of their next six games. Once they lose anywhere along the series, we count that as a winning series. Last year, slightly over 95% of the series were completed by the 4th level. The beauty of this system is that a good portion of the time we will be taking the " dog " in the game and our return will be very rewarding.
Their will be a small percentage of the time where we will be taking both sides of a game simply because we have two separate series going head to head. Don't try to outguess the winner, just get the best price you can on either side. One team will finish their series that day and the other will just move on to the next day.
I'll do my best to post the qualifying teams each day ; some days there will be no action and others can have multiple bets. If all of this sounds confusing, don't worry. As the season unfolds you'll be able to see the system working very clearly.
We will start charting this Friday, May 1st. Any team that gets shutout that day will be a team that we will bet against the following day. Good luck to all who follow.

I keep track of this system for other reasons but since May 1 its performed as follows:

    A. 8-4

    B. 3-1

    C. ARZ (5/8)

    D. 0-0

    E. 0-0

    F. 0-0

    Next A games:

    MIL (5/8)

    LAD (5/8) against ARZ(C)

Betting the -1.5 RL against the shutout team is 7-4 (ARZ still pending)

I am interested to see how well this does if you take bet the ML and the -1.5 RL against the shutout team when the odds are in your favor  and only bet the RL (not moneyline) when they are not in your favor. Good luckclover
