I don't know why you say it's a blessing in disguise. It's a team system, so Philly is a loss, regardless of who ended up pitching.

I said Yanks RL, but no one listened.
I had a double win today with Cubs OVER 8.5 and YANKS RL.
I am so glad that I didn't take PHILLY, I was looking seriously at matchup and found a surprising trend when they play Washington. At home PHILLY splits wins with them.
I would have loved to get in on LA, but 2 BIG wins today was good enough for me.

Apparently with my book, if the listed pitcher didn't start, then the bets would be voided. Oswalt didn't start so that PHI game I wagered on was voided that why I say it was a blessing in disguise for me. PHI lost, but not for me.

I like the YANKS again today, but the stand out matchup is Texas.
No RL or Over/Unders. Can't find any pitching/batting mismatches.
This happens alot after big players.
I'd be careful chasing PHILLY today. B2W pointed it out earlier. Weird things happen late in the season. One of those weird things is coaching staff will start resting big players a little more often, giving them an opportunity to heal. Teams with clear advantages will do this. BOSTON, YANKS, PHILLY, MIL, ATLANTA, TEXAS. YANKS, PHILLY and TEXAS have deep benches so they can afford to go later in the season before. AL is bit tighter race, so PHILLY only needs to keep pace with ATLANTA to ensure a pennant.
This is about the time I stop betting baseball, I think we have another week before things really get screwy.
