I am referring to the idea of taking one heavy favorite and parlaying that one team with three other teams in individual 2 team parlays. Basically you take one team as your definite winner or "anchor" and then attach that two other teams
For example (this is all hypothetical), Detroit being an above -200 fave and parlaying them three times with three dogs.
Parlay #1
Tigers -200
Nationals +175
Parlay#2
Tigers -200
Marlins +130
Parlay #3
Tigers -200
Twins +140
So what does everyone think? I believe I read a post about this sort of thing a while back but can't remember where it was.
Seems to me it could have some potential.

Only was only able to briefly skim the previous post, but I will look more in depth when I have time later today.
However, I did notice a major difference, he takes two of heaviest juiced teams. I would be taking the heaviest favorite of the day and pairing that with underdogs, which pays out higher on the parlays. Also, it seems he had trouble structuring his wager amounts from what I saw in mt brief analysis.
Thanks for the responses

Well, I have decided to track this strategy for anyone that might care. I don't have time to lay out the rules before 7pm, so I will just post my picks for tonight and post again later tonight.
Technically last night was the first night, but since posting picks after the fact is generally frowned upon (and for good reason) I will not count them. However I will post them here since I was unable to post before the games had started.
Day 1 (03/31) ----Does not count toward overall
Parlay A (1 unit)
Mets -213
Minnesota +135
Parlay B (1 unit)
Mets -213
Milwaukee +135
Parlay C (1 unit)
Mets -213
Pirates +136
Results: 3-0 +7.37 units
Overall: 0-0 ------>As I said, since I did not post these picks beforehand it is unfair to claim them towards this experiment, as successful as they were.
Day 2 (04/01)
Parlay A (1 unit)
Seattle -191
Oakland +121
Parlay B (1 unit)
Seattle -191
Minnesota +118
Parlay C (1 unit)
Seattle -191
San Francisco +146
Alright there are tonights picks. Be back later tonight to lay out the premises by which this strategy will be governed.

Alright so another set back with my one must win game not going well.
YTD (0-6 -6 units)
There were no plays last night and none for tonight as I do not see any truly mismatched pitchers to use as the "key" game.
