I think that it's personal preference. When I'm betting a chase system, I use a different labouchere line for each system regardless if the system is a multi-sport system.
One thing that I would like to point out is 'splitting the line' when using the labouchere method. This does not get mentioned very often in the sports betting community. When I am uncomfortable making a large be after several consecutive losses, I will 'split the line'.
For example:
After losing 3 in a row.
Bet 1 $100 - 50-50-50-50 (loss)
Bet 2 - $160 - 50-50-50-50-110 (loss)
Bet 3 - $226 - 50-50-50-50-110-176 (loss)
Labouchere - Normal
Bet 4 - $299 50-50-50-50-110-176-249
Labouchere - "Split the line" - instead of betting $299, start a 'new' line using $299 as the amount that you want to win. After winning the $299, return to the original line.
Bet 4 - $150 75-75-75-75
Also, you don't have to divide you desired win amount by 4. You can start with a longer line.
Example
Desired win $100 20-20-20-20-20
or
Desired win $100 10-20-30-20-10-10
