Hey Riceman,
I would advise staying away from LAA. They fit the line, for sure, however, they are the home team and more importantly, they really, really miss the pitcher filter.
Originally, we were looking for dogs against a fav of less than -110 AND we wanted that dog to have a pitcher with at least a 1.00 advantage in era. Since I've started keeping track about ten days ago, I've noticed that as long as the era is about even the dog should be good, especially if they are the visitor.
Tonight, Haren is up against Price. Haren's era is double that of Price's. Both for the season and for last three. I would stay away. However, again, I am not Irage. Its his system, so bet at your own risk.

Sorry Rice, for whatever reason the covers mlb scoreboard page did not show odds for me yesterday. Had no idea which games to even look at.

Hey CG, sorry dude, CHW was never a play, game was a no play. Good thing too.
LAD cashed. There is no way I am going back to the beginning of Irage's posts for a record but, I started keeping track last week. Since I started posting in this thread, we are 5-2 for profit of $255.50 on $100 unit.
Bos (half) +101 L -50

Total = +255.50
I 'll try and keep up the thread, including the half unit games that miss the pitching filter, as they also seem profitable.

Ya, the line at bet365 was +131 but, I thought what the hell. Volquez is usually terrible, Correira is not half bad. The bullpen is pretty good when not exhausted from a 19 inning game. I thought there was some value there. Didn't expect to Volquez to throw a season high in K's though. Oh well, probably should have went with my initial response and stayed away.
Good thing LAD cashed.
Again today I cannot see the covers odds on the scoreboard page. Not sure why that is. According to Bet365 we have three potentials today, NYY, LAA, and SF. None of them meet the pitching filter so I would be looking at half unit plays.
Will check back again around 6:30pm.

The Dodgers have ballooned to a -118 favorite, so SF is off. The Angels have moved from a +100 dog to a -110 fav, so while they (Sox) still barely fit the system, I will stay away.
Looks like the Yankees will be a play. They odds have held steady since 10am at -103 a piece. They ar ethe away team and they hold the picther advantage.

Hey CG, I advised staying away from the BoSox because although they were the dog, the circumstances that made them the dog scared me away. LAA was a +100 dog and quickly, yesterday afternoon, went to a -110 fav. I am guessing someone knew something for it to change that fast.
Plus, they really did not have the pitching advantage. This strategy started out looking for dogs with better pitchers. I have been pushing it on short dogs with even pitchers. Santana was over a run better than Cook. All that told me to stay away - and it worked! Again!
CHW cashed last night, another win. This strategy is awesome.
