I dont know if this is a new twist. It's new to me. I've never heard anyone else discuss it. I think it's a GREAT idea. But then again, I might be an itsy-bitsy biased!
I've heard people talk about the Martindale(?) system, the one where you keep doubling up. Tell me this. With the age of the internet upon us, why should I have to suffer the stress of doubling up?
Why not find a large group of anonymous victims to do the suffering for me? I could go to Survivor and find active cappers that tend to have smaller losing streaks (2-4 in a row?) I'd then watch and wait for the cold streak to kick in. Depending on the typical length of their coldest streaks, I could jump on board after they've experienced a few losses, hoping the streak-breaking win is just around the corner.
If youre like me and you like to have some money on something at least once a day, you'll need to keep your bet amount smaller just in case you have several cappers at once on a cold streak. I'd guess you'd probably not want someone thats exceeded 0-5 within the last 50 picks. I'm just guessing thats a good standard. Maybe it should be higher or even lower.
The MAIN thing is to decide your money limits BEFORE you ever place a bet. If you'll set guidelines while you're sane and not in the midst of a tilt and FOLLOW those guidelines no matter how badly you wanna ditch them 'just one time', you'll be a success! For me that might mean not losing more than 400/mth. OF COURSE I want to win, plan to win and usually do win, but you want to set the upper upper limits of what you can mentally handle losing. Some might say theyd never allow themselves to lose X $'s each mth but end up getting in trouble and betting crazy amounts because they havent held themselves to that liberal but sane limit!!!
I'm going to try and find some consistent cappers (THATS THE KEY!!!), save them in my favorites folder and keep an eye on their losing streaks. Once they reach that maximum cold streak length, I'll jump on board!
I'll list my picks, limits, unit amounts, etc., as I develop them.
What do you guys think? Any advice/help, etc.? I'm all ears!!!
