I've probably tried more than 6 times of separate deposits of $100 only to lose it all over a week.
Only one time out of those 6 tries was I able to get near $900 and that was with the help of depositing an additional $200 on top of my original $100,
Is it possible to reach to 1K with a $100 BR in less than 2 months? Is the right and only strategy to bet 10% of your BR per bet, meaning 10$ a bet and slowly and attempt to make a profit of a few hundred over the span of a few months?
I guess, what I'm asking is worth anyone's time to start out with a 100 dollar BR expecting to make a profit or would you be wasting your time?
Thanks for help fellas.

Of course you can..... you could have only $10 and succeed......of course you need to hit at least 53 percent......key is that and discipline with money, I bet 2-3 percent of roll on each pick...

I started with $200 about 3 years ago. Betting bankroll is now around 10k. Takes time, but is worth it in the long run. Money management and not getting greedy are the key. Find some good cappers to tail, play some systems with small bets and most of all be disciplined and don't expect to see results instantly. It's a marathon not a sprint.

How were you able to build that kind of bankroll with $200? It's hard to believe you made that much betting less then 10% of BR.
I was thinking of taking a couple of shots going all in or betting 50-50 on 2 games. IF I win and double up or even triple up (2-0) then I would use the money management strategy from here on out because it would be worth my time to cap games at $20 a pop in order to make a solid profit.

Money management, finding good cappers to tail, playing systems smart, researching for good plays. Doing this you can make 3 to 5 units a week, increasing unit size every time your bankroll increas es by 25%, reducing if it drops by 25%. However if I start a season or a system with say $50 as a unit I will not increase the unit size as a down turn could hurt bad. If you start with $100 and increase your balance by 1% per day ypu will have $36,000 in a years time. I'm not recommending this, just using it as an example of comounding interest.

Agreed.. it's a marathon not a sprint. Plus don't be concerned about the weeks profit/loss…. it's the end of season goal and stretch goal that you are more concerned about. Some months are better than others..
It takes a lot of patience and discipline. This is a learned skill that requires training and I have been honing it especially the last couple of years.. I used to be rather reckless with my bets but now I am quite disciplined.
There are quite a few ideas here on Covers and lot's to learn throughout the years if you research enough. Ideas that you can put into practice and amend etc so that you can build that roll..
I use a combination of systems and capping. I find that works for me best.

Dude... that's a great story. Not many people can do that.
I'm starting out with $100 myself and plan to multiply that many times over. I've been around for a while, so I know how challenging it can be, but I know it can be done.
PM me if you'd like to exchange strategies.
Peace.

Started with $50 now up to $150 in about a months time. Im not even close to 10k but i make every day a goal to increase by 1-2% and I call it a win. Anything after is just a bonus and absorbs those inevitable losing days.

I play risky to get my stack up, works every year. I wait for a good time to get in when football starts. I take strong system plays and get aggressive combining them. Sure I lose a lot but if you want a lot....
This year was amazing. I started with $100 and got 100% bonus. Went all in with FP and cash on SF Giants in WS because Royals were undefeated through playoffs and knew they wouldn't sweep Giants. From there got it up to $5500 in 2 1/2 weeks! It's hard not to get greedy at that point so naturally I'll lose a little as you feel unstoppable! I just remind myself to have the discipline to play safe when I reach "X" bankroll.
I don't reccomend this way, like the others state, it's a marathon not a sprint. This is just how I roll and it works for me. I suggest deposit large bankroll of $1000 and then have a sound strategy going in.

go to his sight and check out how fast a 100 doller bankroll can grow in a year. then go to sbr forum in service section and follow his plays for free if you wish. it's definitly risk vs reward program if that's how you like to play.

encouraging testimonials of improbable fantasy, unfortunately they equate to nothing more than a bunch of pure-bread lames (and I do mean lames) seeking recognition, and attention, by way of BS. A $100 BR will get you absolutely nowhere, with the exception of making ten $10 bets; btw if you think anyone in their right mind believes you can take a $200 BR and in a 3 year time frame have a 10k BR your dreaming, do your homework, you would have to hit 65% of all your wagers, doubling your increase consistently..and to top it off, as described by the people posting in this thread, they are going to do it using 'chase' systems & 'tailing' screen names from Covers & SBR forums...what world do you people come from? may I remind you, your posting in systems & strategies, not Grimms fairytales. I wish all of you nothing but success in your quest of achievement in turning $100 into a fortune through betting on sports.

Why call people names or judge them like that?
Just because you think it is impossible does not mean it is.
Good luck with your betting though!

Yet another insightfully garbage post from you sports network. I don't know here you get off but you haven't once posted anything useful on the covers forum. Here are the 3 cappers I've followed religiously so you can go and do the maths and work put that you are an idiot for calling me out as a liar. The punting pros Massey-Peabody Breakdownsheets There you go mate do the maths, coupled in with Australian sports live betting (we have the best live betting markets in the world here - highly inefficient market which is good for some of us to take advantage) Coupled in with playing some systems conservatively on a labby line and my OT chase system in hockey (which is +$3000 last 2 seasons). Do the maths, you sir a grumpy old man that was touched as a child. You want to discuss in person I'll be in Vegas for a week in between coachella week 1 and week 2.

enjoy your stay in LV, (another lie) grow up! Vegas does not cater to minors (under 21) as yourself. May I add to your insults; and highly immature manner of your unjustified commentary that this is an open forum, I, as yourself have equal opportunity of response, and discussion to this thread. Unfortunately, (outside of your immediate circle of 'lames') you'll learn to recognize your assessment is shared by no one other than yourself, the keyboard you hide behind, and the attention, recognition you crave for....have a prosperous day in the Outback, and please, if your going to address future commentary in my direction, talk like the man you consider yourself to be, you sound like a 16 year old wimp who's an embarrassment to the screen name he possesses

See here's the thing, I'm not hiding. If you want to chat like a man I'll be in Vegas. But you don't because you are a fat nobody/loser that sits behind a computer trawling through the forums offering absolutely no insights, ideas or thoughtful contribution. I don't give a rats about recognition, all I am on here is a screen name that's it, I'm just saying it can be done, bar what any grumpy old bums like you want to think.

And in response to the original post so as to get bank on track. It is possible to turn 100 into 1k in a month but you would be relying on luck more than anything, aka gambling. Sports investing id estimate you could do it in 3 months with a careful plan.

We all need to simmer down here. I agree that building a $100 BR is possible yet it is highly improbable. It will take signifcant time, patience, perserverance, dedication, discipline and some luck.
Rivermonsters, I will have to disagree with several of your points in regards to sports_Network. He has posted 2 threads in this forum that I can think of which are 2 of the best, if not the best ever posted on covers in my opinion. If you have nay interest in handicapping the MLB I suggest you study these.
This is not the work of an 'amateur' trust me when I say this. sports_Network is here to help just as many others. When he speaks you really should pay attention. Both of your commentary is out of line. This isn't typical of s_N to go on a harsh rant, but we all have our days and certainIy hope you guys can put this in the past and carry on to the communities FOCUS.....building banks!
Continued success to both of you moving forward!

I'm playing crushers plays and betting risky. he only busted twice in four years.
coolspot, sorry, but I have a stupid question for you. When you say "betting risky" is that a slang for a money management system like "super Martingale" or something, or are you just saying that Crusher's plays are risky. I like Crusher and would like to find a great strategy for using his plays. Thanks in advance.
