HFOUDL is short for "Home Favorite Off Under Dog Loss"
The
system says to bet on a team that is a home favorite in the FIRST game
of a series. The team must be coming off a loss as an underdog in the
LAST game of the previous series. You can chase for the whole series or
play each single game (all 3 or 4) Both the series' must be at least 3 games.

...I still haven't found a quick way to go through all the past 3-4 game series to find teams that fit this system's requirements, but TP has been very reliable in that regard...so, I figured I'd just wait to see what he comes up with - if anything. He did fail to post TOR -161 as a (single) play today...so maybe he's busy.

I don't think he failed to post. When he first listed his plays 4 days ago he mentioned that this would be a 4 game series. So he probably just assumed that we understand you bet every game of the series.

White Sox and Reds will both be new chase plays starting tomorrow if they are listed as favorites, since both teams lost their last game as an underdog and now go home to play.

Tomspeople - Did anything stand out during the 9 series loss last year? Something in particular? Was gonna research it but wanted to ask in case you have all the data somewhere convenient.

Tomspeople this was brought up at the beginning of the season and I was wondering if you had put anymore thought into this? Most of the Chase losses were with the National League last season, and all the Chase losses (3) were with the NL in 2007. I have had no success in trying to research where these losses occurred (although I would be very willing to if I was pointed in the right direction as to where to look).
With Interleague play starting this weekend, a possibility was that these NL losses took place during the Interleague play. Even if this turns out to not be the case, I think it is worth thinking about for this season since the AL typically dominates the Interleague play. This system has been a proven success, and it would be even greater if the few losses each season could possibly be turned into wins.
I've been playing this system since April 30th and it's been a very nice 8-0 on the chase (GM1 5-3, GM2 3-0), and 8-3 on individual games. I have been thinking about the Interleague games since the start, and after much thought I have decided I will play the AL teams which qualify, and fade the NL teams which qualify. IMO, the American League is far superior than the National this year, with the exception of the Dodgers.
What are your thoughts about this, if any?

kreat, I'll make sure to look into that when I have time. I'm pretty busy today though. Tomorrow shouldn't be too bad.
Well doesn't look like too much thought has to be put into this weekend at least. I'm definitely going 2 play the White Sox and Oakland at home this weekend. I'm on the fence right now as to how to play the Cincy/Clev. series.. play the system play of Cincinnati.. fade the NL and play Cleveland.. or just lay off this series all together.
This is a big weekend for me as I all ready have 3 chases starting on another system I have been running (Dodgers, Red Sox, & Tigers) so I may just stay away from the Cincy series, what do u think? I think either team is capable of sweeping.
If all goes right this weekend, I will have doubled my bankroll from the original amount and be able to increase my unit size.
MAY THE WINNERS BE OURS!!
