With a team -104/-104, I usually look at the opening line.

why am i such an idiot??

why does it sound to me like chasing and betting EACH game of series is the same??  Tonight CLEV got smoked..lost -152 to win 100(1 unit for me).  So in a chase method I would then wager tommorow whatever line is to win 262?  then what would betting EACH game entail? Win or lose play each game in series, same amount as long as team was a dog in last game of last series?

straigt betting is one method of play

doubling up is a seecond method of play

they both have nothing to do with each other

I'm also decided not to go with lauborche method wich is also a sepret betting method

I decided to bet straight so tonight cleveland lost and I bet 1$ so my next bet on clevland would only be 1$

straight betting every game that qualifys your goal is to profit in the long run as you probably won't show profit right away. or maybe not even 10 games from now. but by the end of the season or at some point in between.

thx for the info tom I will try to pay closer attention to opening lines.

You are correct. For some reason, last night when I checked, I seen that the series was only 2 games =\
There was another team with the same thing, I'll have to recheck that and post soon.

Okay, I checked it out, Milwaukee is a play.

Pittsburgh is still not a play however, since their last series was only 2 games.

I understand the system completely.

One more question though --- you have a Chase record and a record of playing each game in the series.

Today you have Tex as a play  in the series and as a play on the Chase.  

Lets say you bet 1 unit every game you play.  Would you be betting 2 units on the Rangers today -- 1 unit for the Chase and 1 unit for the series?

If you wanted to bet both the chase system and each game individually, then yes.

Also, on the 2nd game of the series, as today there would be 3 of them -- all home teams are the favs

Example - Tex -125 on Monday 4.13 --  they lose ---- I play $125 to win $100
       Tuesday 4.14 -- Texas would be a play and a chase play --- they are at -144 -- I am going to chase and put $360 down to win $250 -- double up


On the Series plays -- lets say Tex wins today, are you done or do you ride out the series on Tex?
With the Chase system, once the team wins, you are done with that correct and sticking to just betting the series - basically less units?
If the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th games end up being home dogs due to pitching scenario, is it still a play?


My apologies for the questions and your help is very much appreciative.

For the chase, you chase until you win (or the series is over)
For betting each game, you bet each game to win one unit. If they are a dog in the second game (say +150 for an easy example) you would bet 0.67u to win 1u.

With Texas and Milwaukee winning, we keep the chase perfect :)
@ant, TB opened as a dog, and have been a dog almost the whole time since then, so I wouldn't play them. You can if you would like though.
And I don't how you see the cubs as a play. They were a huge fav last game, and to add to that. the series was only 2 games.

For close games, I judge by the opening line, that is, before the public has a huge take on it. So yes, Arizona would be a play.

Whoa... wait a minute. What are you using as a source for lines? I've been using Covers and have Pittsburgh as the only play today as they lost as an underdog to Atlanta and opened today at as a favorite over Florida at -115. Further, Arizona closed yesterday as a favorite v. the Giants yesterday at -109, how can they be a play? What am I missing? What should I be using to find my lines?
