why am i such an idiot??
why does it sound to me like chasing and betting EACH game of series is the same?? Tonight CLEV got smoked..lost -152 to win 100(1 unit for me). So in a chase method I would then wager tommorow whatever line is to win 262? then what would betting EACH game entail? Win or lose play each game in series, same amount as long as team was a dog in last game of last series?

straigt betting is one method of play
doubling up is a seecond method of play
they both have nothing to do with each other
I'm also decided not to go with lauborche method wich is also a sepret betting method
I decided to bet straight so tonight cleveland lost and I bet 1$ so my next bet on clevland would only be 1$
straight betting every game that qualifys your goal is to profit in the long run as you probably won't show profit right away. or maybe not even 10 games from now. but by the end of the season or at some point in between.
thx for the info tom I will try to pay closer attention to opening lines.

I understand the system completely.
One more question though --- you have a Chase record and a record of playing each game in the series.
Today you have Tex as a play in the series and as a play on the Chase.
Lets say you bet 1 unit every game you play. Would you be betting 2 units on the Rangers today -- 1 unit for the Chase and 1 unit for the series?

Example - Tex -125 on Monday 4.13 -- they lose ---- I play $125 to win $100
Tuesday 4.14 -- Texas would be a play and a chase play --- they are at -144 -- I am going to chase and put $360 down to win $250 -- double up
On the Series plays -- lets say Tex wins today, are you done or do you ride out the series on Tex?

For the chase, you chase until you win (or the series is over)
For betting each game, you bet each game to win one unit. If they are a dog in the second game (say +150 for an easy example) you would bet 0.67u to win 1u.

Whoa... wait a minute. What are you using as a source for lines? I've been using Covers and have Pittsburgh as the only play today as they lost as an underdog to Atlanta and opened today at as a favorite over Florida at -115. Further, Arizona closed yesterday as a favorite v. the Giants yesterday at -109, how can they be a play? What am I missing? What should I be using to find my lines?
