I tend to stay away fom RLs as a system but will sprinkle in plays if the team I am targeting is a dog, although I prefer just to take the + odds of the dog rather than give all that up for a run and a half. I am a believer in never bet on a dog unless you think it will win outright (has served me well in NFL).
You can chase using faves -1.5 but with such parity this year it is hard enough just to get a win let alone the RL win on a fave.
Not sure how you are betting on the RL, but if you post it, I'm sure people will have some thoughts.
