Excel formulas for baseball betting

Hey everyone, im trying to work on an excel spreadhseet to help with my handicapping. If anyone can give me a real simple example as to where to start or exactly how they calculate things, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

read Betting Baseball by Michael Murry.  he explains how to start one.  i have never done it but he tells how it is done.  i have the 2007 book.  i would assume it is in the 2008 version as well
