I was reading a article on parlaying correlation plays. I want to know if betting on the game like nyy with a favored line of -120 and betting them on the -1.5 line on the same team would be considered a correlation play. same day of course? I'm not sure I get what they are. any help would be aprieciated.

I want to know if betting on the game like nyy with a favored line of -120 and betting them on the -1.5 line on the same team would be considered a correlation play. same day of course? In a way I guess that would be correlated but I'm not even sure that you can bet that in a parlay. A correlated parlay is when you believe the outcome of one bet increases the chances of winning the other bet. For example, if you like the Dodgers to win a game and they're facing a crappy pitcher, and the Dodgers are throwing say, Paul Maholm, you might also be inclined to think the game would go over the total. If the Dodgers win, they are probably going to have to score quite a few runs because the other team will likely also score some as well. Hopefully I didn't butcher that.

thankyou I also read that books don't like it when correlation parlays are made. I think I get it more now. was just trying to figure out best way to parlay. the suggestion was in this article I read also stated that 2 C bets from the same system are best parlayed together.
