Chase systems, playing in bulk

Next post has a copy of the backtest I used.  I just hope it comes out looking okay.  It is from MLB 2013.  I used Rizz's chase, Rotation Play, and 2 others I was looking at: Play dog if O/U is 9 or less, and Low Scoring Home Win, chase 3gs.

The starting bankroll was 100 and I used 5% (5), as my starting unit.  When I hit 25% of my starting BR (25) I pulled it out and banked it.  Using the 5% for units, example would if my BR was at 110, my unit was 5.5.  

When I had a game that 2 chases were against each other, it was a no play.  If it was 2 against 1, I played the 2.

Below on the right column, is the amount each day won or lost, and below that, the next day's wager size.

This was from Apr 1st to Apr 8th.  Starting on Apr 9th, I was playing with house money.

When the season starts, I don't plan on using these exact systems.  They were for an example...although the O/U Dog play is interesting. 

I plan on playing the Rotation play, Rizz, Cisco and Barts, and Dan's parlay system.

Col D is the score, based on the home team.  

Col E & F are the MLs based on Home/Away...E being the home team.  

Col G is the non chase system of playing a dog RL if the O/U is 9 or under....100 being a win, and the -(~150) a loss.  

Col H is the Rotation play...dog RL.  Win is a 100, loss being -(~150). 

Cols I,J,K are the Rizz's system, Game A being Col I etc.  

Cols L,M,N is a Low Scoring Home Dog W chase I was messing with.  Col L being Game A etc.

Col O, except for 2 first rows, are the bets won or lost, x being no bet as 2 systems went against each other.

Col P, except for 2 first rows, is where I banked 25 every time my BR went over 125.

Col Q is 2 things...the daily unit...which would be set on the game of the day (Q3 is 5, my daily unit) and the total won lost that day (Q15 is 35, total won that day)

Look at a stretch from Apr 9th to the 13th.  I lost like 40u, but because I didn't play the chases the way you should (Col I-N), I didn't lose as much.  The 2 chase plays went like 7w and 15l.  

I don't care too much to have that much riding on one or two games.  I suppose this is like labbying.  Each game has the same unit play, but I figure it different.  My goal is to come out ahead, not if I play 200 series, to have a 200 unit profit.  That and my risk is less so I won't stress.

Also, say I kept losing (I didn't, I banked another 175 by May 1st), my unit played would be too low to bet, but it was all house money, I had banked my starting already.

I just put this out there.  This is how I'm playing it.  When that big D game comes, I'll be playing it the same as another system's A

Thanks for sharing, This is a great concept and MM strategy. Personally i will try this concept on a few this year to see how it plays out.  I also went back to the last 2 years of results utilizing bD's Magnacarta 1 & 2 as it is action packed and can definitely carry a few games past the 'B" bets.  This strategy really takes the "Chase" out of the "Chase" which is nice. In the past years i utilized and developed a tracking sheet for a multiple Labby line strategy.  I compared the two ideas and they are close at the end, difference being your days risk on particular qualifying games is flat and my approach relies on personal discretion of which Labby line you want to utilize (and hopefully clear) which results in larger bets on certain strings. Cant agree more that the less stress on ourselves and profit at the end of the day makes this hobby way more enjoyable & profitable.  If you want to play around with my tracking sheet or you use Labby style betting here is a link, its mostly automated and can have up to 8 lines at any given time. Is this playing any team that is -145 or higher in the first game of a 3 or more homestand or are there filters (winning pct, etc....)?

Your post reminded me of an excel file I found on another web forum, dealing with chases.  I've been fooling with it...to adjust it to my MM plan.  I'll post that file onto Google docs and you all can download it.  Once I fix my copy to how I like it, I will post that one too. 

My spreadsheet that I use to determine plays, I'm working on now.  I'm reusing my 2014 one.  I have a ton of useful info on there besides formulas to determine system plays.  The thing taking me the longest is the schedule for 2015.  It has to be set up correctly for plays...determining road trips, game a/b/c of a series etc. After the season starts, I have to update it and see if the web sites I pull data from have updated their sites, and then adjust the formulas accordingly.
