Hey guys, I'm just at a low point in sports wagering :( I see alot of smart guys on here, just wondering if anyone thinks this can really be a profitable thing? I've tried many systems, picking games myself, fading the public, even buying picks with all the same results...winning a little and losing a lot! Just wondering if it's possible? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!! Thanks and Peace, PL

Oh it can be for sure, you got to limit your plays, stay away from the juice.  There are no shortcuts, you gotta cap every game.  The reverse line movements, fading consensus will just get you a 50-50 coin flip.

Also, never, never buy picks.  You can get just as good or better picks right here on Covers boards.  Come by the pucks forum and look around.  There are a ton of great cappers on the board.

Hey Playloud yes it can be. I been where you are long ago started as 17 yr old the money i lost from then til i was late twenties could have paid for 6 college educations

Stopped betting for years then just leraned on my own to develop systems for NFL  NBA and MLB learn the games find each teams strengthts and weaknesses.

Read my thread the rules of gambling copyy it and paste it in your documents.

Mostly they are just the old tried n true time tested methods used by the pros for decades!

#1 Key is managing your money most use only 2% of bank per day and stick with it!

The hard part is learning how to handicap each sport.

I only do 3 pro sports NFL NBA and MLB

IF you really want to learn befriend me and i'll teach you for free how to make money every year in MLB.

I'm having a little war right now with Jeffthehat he is posting the chase system of his as the best ever system to win Money in bases with this false result of 2461 - 0    ........

SEE the thing is right there they only talk about the wins in chase systems and forgot to tell you about the losses.

a 6 game chase works like this even smallest bets allowed will wipe out $500 bankroll the 1st series

    NOT using juice

A game bet $5 lose B game Double that $10 LOSE C game or 3rd BET $30 to win $30 this would get a profit if it wins but you lose again your now minus $45 you need to win $50 so 4th game BET $50 and lose now negative $95 = 19% of your bank lost which is way over the 5 % max. so now we need to bet $100 game 5 that loses your stuck $195 6th game you need bet $200 to win and be in profit just $5 YOU now are risking over half your bank and your only into 6 days of season total risked is $395 on game 6 that can lose also you are out $395 and only have left $105 for next game that's all you can bet YOU bet and finally win YOU left with $210 and are negative $290 this is why no chase system works they are all fallicies , lies, built off losses.

I will prove every chase system wrong in 1st month of bases.

I will post MY plays in THE MLB forum but if you desire to learn for FREE befriend ME I will teach you this for FREE.

IF you want i have posted FREE how to win at races guaranteed time tested methods by me!

NO i'm not the type who bets large money in sports or other gambling i'm average middle money type like $100 per day or $50 depending on cash i have in hand.

BOL message me be come friends i'll ask you 1st just accept.

Lipps, watch my and learn like the rest of the handicapping world how to make an easy 600+ units in MLB. Being a mod I thought you might be more open minded to betting strategies and systems. I'm sure you've been watching my NHL system rack up an easy 100 units!

Yeah it's hard to know which the right person to tail or fade because everyone is hot and cold and not everyone posts legit numbers from what I've seen? I'm not up on chase systems so that sounds foreign to me. The best success I've had is on fading the public but that seems to take longer also. I don't have a ton of time to research all sports so that's hard as well. I've been very good with money management, just can't seem to get above the 52% mark. Feel stuck, but I do believe it can be done, just at a crossroads. I appreciate all the help though!! keep it coming with anymore advice. Thanks again, PL

Being a mod, don't you think I have seen every chase system there is ?  Bottom line, sometime you will be wagering tons of money to make just one unit.  And the books have much more cash than any of us do. So they can take a 50 unit wager, but most of us can't wager that much to win just one unit.  Unless your units are $1 or $2 a piece.

Although you can Labrouch (SP) it to cut the risk a bit.

Yes I agree a labby helps cut risk, I'm working on some ideas to help cut the risk when it gets to the 6 to 8%  of the plays that reach the 4-6th tier. You have to admit out of 3532 plays that only about 247 plays going there is not bad. The proof is in the pudding sir and believe me you've never seen a chase like this before.

Actually I have seen them all.  Most are flat out chases and yours appears to be a chase of wagering huge ML's getting plus 1.5 runs or goals depending on the chase.

    The 4 day chase system
Sports betting champ (John Morrison) stuff
    MIT basketball betting system.

Really it's all the same thing, it's how you run the chase. But bottom line if you hit game 3 and God forbid game 4, you are wagering a ton of money to just win unit.  I have seen these chases go years winning, but most people tap out on those game 4's.  They just don't have the bullets to wager it.  Now again if they are just using say even $5 units then they maybe can weather it.

Cisco that used to post here some, had a real good chase baseball system, but even it finally hit that faithful game.

I am really not fond of playing plus 1.5 RL or PL's, that put the juice sky high.  Just setting up for torching  your bankroll sometime down the line.

The only chase I do pay attention to and put some small coin on is the one in baseball where a top tier team at home is playing a lower team and you wait for the much better team to lose their first game in the series.  Then you chase after that.  That seems to do real well and you are not wagering a ton of money.

    BOL with it.

OMG , I almost choked to death on my dinner laughing so hard at you. You have no idea how chase systems are scored. Everyone knows that the losses aren't counted in a chase unless it exceeds the designated amount of games the chase is going! Yes everyone knows there are losses. I think you do this as an act right? Thx for the laughs you make my day and night.

P.S. gotll all the other chase system creators they are liars too see how thatvworkscfor you.

Playloud, follow JeffTheHat, Danrules and a few others.  I'm gonna wager on a labby this season.  I have a MLB system that I did last year that I'm changing all up.  It picks 59% winners straight up for MLB but that's a loser for MLB.  Testing with a labby, it came out a winner.  Most MLB systems don't start until May, also.

Just make sure your base unit is at a comfortable size to allow you to have a series loss and some open B and C games straight after.. because it will happen.

The best thing about Labby is that it's controllable and with good discipline you will recover..

It's all about end of season results.
