buried in the Metro Atlantic Conference, it’s possible to come up with
a betting winner. Siena is 4-3 overall but has underachieved regarding
the lines. The Saints are 0-4 against the spread in the last four board
games. They do have a double-digit wins over Cornell and respectable
losses to Tennessee (by 14) and Oklahoma State (by 9).
Marist is
3-4 overall, 3-3 against the number and off an upset victory over Iona.
The Red Foxes lost badly to Tennessee (by 39) and St. Bonaventure (by
23) but Siena is more in the Iona class. Marist lost twice to Siena
last year so there is the revenge factor in our favor. We’re trusting
that Siena is again overpriced and that Marist can stay within the 15½
in this New York State rivalry. MARIST.
