Your early plays have been on a streak. 
 
U gotta weather the storm to come out on the other side.  When it's all said and done, the results data might point to some high-percentage patterns that can be tested in the next half season.  Maybe you are already doing that.
 
Analysis w/basic variables like RH v. LH, NL or AL, day v, night, underdog v. chalk, home v. road can filter through some factors that could really optimize your existing system.
