Anyone try any systems based around ref assignments?

Maybe the points/game ave of the 3 refs in the game and if the differential is a certain number from the game total its a play? Or maybe if ever 2/3+ of the coaches fall into one of the top 10 of any category, being O, U, or Home ATS then its a play. Any value to stuff like this? The Ref stats are of course on covers. So have any tried anything like this? If not any suggestions on a good test system around this idea?

Also, anyone know a site where I can backcheck past ref assignments?

no, the refs stink though. In college basketball especially. It seems down the stretch, they call a foul on every possession in the last 4 minutes. Makes me nervous because most the time I have the under!
