Anyone running a Zig Zag system for NBA Playoffs?

I heard its profitability has waned throughout the years but playing the top teams to bounce back from a loss is still profitable.

Ok ok, the clamour is deafening... I'll step up and try to run a zig zag. I'll bet that if any of the top 3 seeds in each conference lose I'll bet on them to win their next game (to win 1 unit on the moneyline), and chase up until elimination (max. 3 games). Massive amounts of juice will be flowing. 

Eastern: Spurs, Thunder, Lakers
Western: Bulls, Heat, Pacers

Well the Pacers came through and put the system up 1 unit. I'm not sure what to do about Chicago though. It seems that Rose's injury would seriously hamper the Bull's playoff prowess.  I'm thinking about bumping up Boston and removing Chicago in the Western Conference.

I've decided not to bet on the Bulls and not to replace them with Boston.

I like your LAKERS bet.  I think they take the next 2. By how much though...IDK.

I got the +124 on Betfair ($6000k+ bid). Pinnacle has them at +119. Both are moneyline.

6K??? Man! I'm going for the Lakers, not because they are my team or I put $50 on them, but because you put 6K on them .  Bend me over backwards and call me a vantrillaquest!!!

No no! Betfair is a betting exchange. It means you could have bet up to $6k at +124 if you wanted to. The next best bid was around +119 or +118.  People can bid and offer whatever lines they want on a a game so the spreads get super tight because people compete to bid or offer the best lines.

I didn't bet $6k or anything remotely close to it.

Nice win for the Lakers. System is 2-0. Next bet will be on Miami on the moneyline whenever the lines get posted.

Miami -1000 moneyline (ouch)

Miami takes the series and puts the system up 3 units.  Next bet will be on the Lakers and they're a small underdog.

Thursday May 10th

I think I would consider Boston ML a play tonight also. What do u think Cool?

I've decided not to chase with Boston but might be worth looking at in the next series for a side bets.

Lakers lose and so we have the first chase.

Saturday May 12
Pick:
Lakers -260 moneyline (to win 2 units)

Lakers take the series and the system is up 4 units. Next round should have a lot more action. I'll be chasing Pacers, Heat, Spurs, Thunder, and Lakers.

Forgot to post the Pacers chase. They were around +280 and they won. The system is now up 5 units.

Next up is the Lakers which makes me think we'll be chasing. They don't look good against the Thunder. We will also be betting on Miami next.

Wednesday May 16th

Tough loss for the Lakers and we'll chase.

Thursday May 17th

Miami -121 moneyline.

Miami loses again and we'll chase on Saturday.

Friday May 18th
Pick:
Lakers -138 moneyline. (to win 1 unit + recoup previous loss)

Nice win for the Lakers and now we'll bet on the Thunder for the next one. Still chasing Miami for a win on Sunday.

Saturday May 19.
Pick:
Thunder -116 moneyline

Thunder wins and the ZigZag is up 7 units but with a pending chase on Miami. Kind of don't want to bet on the Lakers again but that's the system.

Sunday May 20th
Pick:
Heat -121 moneyline (to win 1 unit + recoup previous loss)

ZigZag system is  +8 units so far.

Nice comeback win for the Heat and we'll bet next on Pacers. Still not loving the bet on the Lakers back in Oaklahoma and they're a big underdog.

Monday May 21st
Pick:
Lakers +377 moneyline (to win 1 unit)

The Lakers bite the dust and the system takes its first loss. Fortunately Lakers were a big overlay of +377 and only cost .265 of a unit. The ZigZag is up 7.735 units.

Tuesday May 22nd
Pick:
Pacers +281 moneyline (to win 1 unit)

Pacers lost yesterday and we'll chase.

Thursday May 24th
Pick:
Pacers +140 moneyline (to win 1 unit + recoup previous loss)

Pacers lose to the Heat and results in another loss on the system. Fortunately Pacers were underdogs in their two losses so the unit loss is small -.967 units for that chase. The ZigZag system is still up 6.768 units.
