AL Sweep Chase, Home stand chase

I don't know if anyone remembers my sweep chase system last year that pretty much flamed out, but I have looked back at it and think using better selection it can be profitable.

I have narrowed it down to simply playing on AL teams completing a home sweep to win at least one game in their subsequent series.

49-2 for 2010

47-1 for 2009

I have looked at NL and it is not nearly as good.  I also looked at playing on teams at home coming off a road sweep and looked pretty good but would have added only 15 plays or so per year and caused 2 extra losses last year.  I included Interleague play and it did result in one of the losses in that OAK swept an IL game last year only to lose their next homestand.

-Any play above -150 will be played on the RL

-I will use aggressive labouchere money management

-This year will be the trial run.  Hopefully we can pick up a few units on this

AL Homestand Chase

Play on teams meeting criteria in a four game chase on a homestand of 6 games or more.  Will play RL on any play of -150 or higher.  Many of these will be on dogs.

217-6 over last 3 seasons

77-0 in 2008

90-3 in 2009

60-3 in 2010

 

Once again we will use aggressive labby on 4 lines.

I'm new.. 

We are waiting for CLE to start their series at home against KC to trigger a play.

 

I made a major mess up with the TOR play.  They were a play for tuesday night when they started the homestand.  They won in that game so there should not have been a play on them today or for the rest of the series.  Sorry for the confusion.  If it looks like I am messing something up I probably am.  My work schedule is extremely hectic which makes it hard to stay on top of some of this.  I thought TOR had lost last night when I posted the play.  I realized it earlier today, but of course had no ability to post that TOR was not a play.  I will record it as a Game 1 win for tracking purposes and deduct the 1.5U due to the messed up post.  I am not seeing any new series for tomorrow

Not a big fan of sweep chasing. reminds me of the sportsbettingchamp guy who got my cash. then he came out with the white referee thing and that was manure. sorry, nothing personal. and, no, i didnt buy the white ref thing. read it here on covers.

No worries B2W, to each their own.  I think the logic behind SBC system isn't horrible.  The problem is the guy is a scammer and stole his system from someone else. If you don't like chasing sweeps try the extended homestand plays....  I looked into these systems in the off season as a response to those wanting to make plays with lower odds.

Im too terrible to pick daily winners. i dont blog but i follow that system of yours w/the extended... if this system comes to fruition, i will prob. play it next yr.  seems ur not doin too bad or else it woulda been canned. keep it up. maybe I will start post all star if all goes well. thanks again rizz.

C'mon Rizz... you've been posting the night before for the first 3 weeks... you have a little bumpy patch here... don't leave em hanging! Time to put some serious cashola on the Rangers and the NYY.... this is the kind of nightmare a system like this wishes away- the two biggest favorites in the AL are on the verge of getting swept at home after a sweep... This is what happens when I come along and start making a 1/4 play on something that sounded decent... now my 1/4 play is 3 full units- I feel bad to any $50 bettor- tonight will test your marbles.... I'm the kiss of death to any chase system- sorry.
