As always, picked a horrible time to stop playing the TOPVRPI. 8 wins in last 10 plays and gave up adding another 7 units to the years systems profit. 
As usual its always hard to pick the time when a guy should stop and enjoy some profits without second guessing. I guess a system is a system and if it continuously shows positive growth over time and hits at consistent rates you should play until season ends or playoff teams are established and locked.

You will have to download the sheet again in a few weeks once RPI's and a few other stats have enough data for each team and can be utilized. This sheet currently will utilize data from last year to establish qualifying plays....I track for curiosity and make small plays on some but wont start tracking officially for another week or two.

Yeah, that's just it, easy to add O/U games that I pick to my top pick labby trackers when i feel there is value in those sides.
I noticed there are a few tweeks required for it to be fully functional so i will make those in the next week or two and update the link.

Hey Riv,
The theory behind the TOPDOG was to help automate the statistics I usually looked at when trying to cap games to theoretically identify the top +money game. It ranks the Dogs from best to worst in the categories of Season Win%, RPI, League Rank, Season wins and L10 Wins. It also ranks the differentials of their opponent played that night in Goals For, Goals Against and RPI Diff. I also add a bit more value for Home dogs vs Road dogs. From the rankings out of those categories it averages the dog teams value to theoretically identify the Dog with the most value that night. I play it on a progression style bet, but a labby would also work. If you want to see some of the logic in excel you can "unhide" the columns from AH to BG.
I built it mid NHL season last year and watched it succeed. I then used the same methodologies and played it in MLB. It created a P/L chart that is a dream for any wagering investor. If you would like to see the chart it produced download the MLB sheet in the other thread and click on the topdog header (cell BB8).
I am going to start playing it tonight with OTTAWA as the first pick.

I decided to play the RPI dog on a labby this year only because over the last 3 years of evaluating my plays a labby produced more units. Every year i seem to analyze the results and add a filter or two to attempt to create the most value. Last year I added the RPI dog had to come into game with a loss, it limited a bit of exposure and added only 1.79 units compared to playing all RPI dogs, but it was 1.79 I didn't have!, the year before it added quite a bit more. This year I added the RPI dog having at least 4 wins in L10 as another filter. This will also help on the # games played and hopefully increase value with a higher win% and ROI....I guess we will see.

Will you be updating the system plays sheet this year? I have been trying to update it and I'm having no such luck!

Here is the link to the sheet with a few systems I will play this year with the ability to track the bets that are placed to determine their successes/failures. If you would like to utilize it for your own tracking or developing your own theories/systems its a good tool/template to start from. Pretty easy to use, click "today", click "update". By clicking the "add bets to tracker it will put the games identified into the appropriate tracking tab. If you don't play those games you can simply clear the cells on the appropriate tracking tabs or insert the games you do play. At the end of games you can fill the results in with either a "W" or a "L". Let me know if you identify any bugs or have any questions if you choose to use this tool. I am sure the sheet will require a few adjustments as time goes on and I will update the link with current results and as adjustments are made.

Hey Jenjay sent you a friend request. This sheet is awesome thanks for posting. Want to confirm are you playing all 4 of these systems? It's my first yr playing these so just had a few questions as I was going over everything. Also do you use $100 for tracking because I see $100 you usually list to win $50 ea on your tabs thanks in advance
