Since 1980, teams that scored 35 or more points in their previous game are 0-15 ATS on the road in the Playoffs vs. .690+ foes, if that foe gave up 14+ in its last game. With San Diego off a 27-20 win over Arizona to end its regular season, we'll play on the Chargers to blow out New England.

I hate trends like the next guy, but with less than a game a year falling under this criteria I'm willing to listen. Good point about Schottenheimer though.

How is taking the Chargers going out on the limb? All I've heard all week is how Tom Brady & Bill Belichick are too good for Philip Rivers & Marty Schottenheimer.
