St Louis backers should be a no play Sept 2 2015

So Wacha has been pulled as a small favorite and a lot of guys are on St Louis tonight including myself going for 10 in a row.

It's now Lyons starting and St Louis is a +125 dog.

Anyone who made the pick on St Louis as a fave should have the game voided no? I think so.

No. If you bet it with a bookie, it would count as a wager. As Gary Hall would say, that's the breaks of the game .

lol who bets with a bookie in this day and age, worst lines ever.lol

if you bet with a real "sportsbook" it's a voided wager. And as Billy Walters would say, that's called the evolution of the industry.

Yeah monopoly I have no idea what you're smoking or drinking but I'd like some of that. Most sportsbooks and most bookies will void the action (standard for industry in MLB is "Listed pitchers must start") unless the bettor decides to choose action no matter what pitchers start....which seems to be policy at Covers contests but I don't read the small print so I wouldn't know.

It'd be nice if Covers used standard operating betting procedures when it comes to MLB but it might be a small logistical nightmare to implement or maybe they're lazy or it's just another kink that adds to the vig of making it difficult to get to that free cash.

I too also thought it maybe logistics..but if you read johnny bye bye's thread he had his totals bet on the same game cancelled...so why cancel the total on a pitch change..but not on the side. just wrong.
