Golden State to cover 9.5 pts.and another $75,000 for the Streak leader. What it comes down to is what Chicago team shows up. If it's the Chicago team that lost to Miami then he has a chance. If it's the Chicago team that beat Dallas for back-to-back wins then he is doomed. I wouldn't have put a chance at $75,000 by giving 9.5 pts. to the Bulls.

I am guessing the Streak-leader's thinking is that GS is the best team in the league at home and if he is going to put all his marbles on one team why not GS because if they lose at least he can say he lost on currently the best NBA team. The only problem with that philosophy is that Chicago could easily keep this game within 9.5 pts. if they bring their A-game, which they might because who isn't motivated to beat a team that hasn't lost to an Eastern Conference opponent all year. I think he is putting his pride before selecting the best team to win another $75,000, especially since he has a whole week to make another pick.
