Thanks moneym8 for the 7 day scare tactic, that got me digging into the what's going on around here?! scenario, that now finds me signing agreements saying I'm responsible, and not Covers for anyone that gets hurt while drinking or partying with the money I've won...LOL!

Anyways, should be working on these games today, of which I like too many of. I like Kan, but no... I think pretty good chance of the Mets and Padres winning again. I like Tab as a light dog...but no... Baltimore seems solid, but last 3 games on the board usually stagger around on me...so no. So, maybe take care of business today, and maybe come back later to try again. Dunno. I need to stay Focused! ...lol!

If I had something really solid, you would see the pending pick by my name on the contest leaderboard, or I would have announced it in the forum. And I can and do cap baseball hockey and NFL. Kinda gave up on NBA though, but I can get streaks going there too. You asked...How long to cap a game? It can take anywhere from a few minutes to half a day, depending on my interest in a particular game. Like yesterday...I badly wanted to go with the Padres again, and thought I'd pull the trigger about 3 pm. But, I just WASN'T FEELING it. Line movements were bad, and I was feeling worse the further the day went along, until I realized, it was likely gonna be a bad pick. Then the blood came back to my head... :0)) And that's capping for you...not so easy. You wanna pick a game that wins? You look at a particular game, and you JUST KNOW who's gonna win. Then you cap it to see if it's comfortable enough to go with. Even then the challenge is to keep trusting yourself if it loses in overtime or even Big!. Haha! The only game yesterday that I had that feeling with was the LAD PHI game. Philly a big dog... But, I just KNEW they were going to win. It of course wasn't offered on the survivor streak board because the line was too high. Several of the games I picked on this streak I felt that "Just Know" type of feeling, where after I placed the bet I felt very good about it beginning to end. So, today I have no happy face to put beside a pick on any of these games. It's sad for some, but sadder for me if I cave in to pressure, and lose a chance to make some exceptional coin. So...we wait....for the right spot, where common sense, good capping, and that intuitive Just Know type of thing happens, so we can all continue this ride together, and collect some fun and profit!

Haha! Listen NFLnewbie. You keep asking questions that I've already answered. And some impertinent ones. But in all fairness to you, I didn't answer one. Is MLB your best sport? Ok. it is about equal with Hockey. Won lots on both.

The answer is that they WEREN'T suppose to win. Milwaukee was the favorite. The lines are decided by professional bookmakers, and the odds favored Milwaukee. Usually starting pitcher moves the line the most. The day before when San Diego won, they were the favorites. Our job is to decide whether or not the favorite or the underdog will win the game. I felt the trade would be a deciding factor that could favor the Padres, but ended up being incorrect on yesterday's game. Another reason I didn't play that game for the streak was simply because favorites are usually favorites for a reason. As the line moved to favor Milwaukee even more, and reasons previously stated...I laid off the game.
That's the way professional sports goes there NFLnewbie. And that's why you gotta be careful with picks. Results are Final.
