CFL - Going with the Als in my 1st pick @-5.5, Bombers way to inconsistent and their abysmal record shows it. Cavillo and his array of different weapons does the job. Second pick will be Riders @+1.5, I llike both teams here, just think that last weeks Riders win over the Stamps gives them a motivational edge. Jiminez situation could possibly be a distraction. Watch out for some serious trash talking.
Okay Maritimers the CFL has arrived. Break out the band. Tonights games pits the Esks against the Argos (huge yawn) I'm not sure what the honchos at CFL HQ have gotten themselves into here but it will be a while before we hear serious franchise talk.Do stay awake and catch the half time show when Larry the Lobster does his "Salute to Shellfish"
NFL - Picks are going to be not to far off my original leans. I;m really strong on the 49ers @-1.5, I believe this team is far stronger than their record indicates, The MNF game IMO was the best of the past week. Smith really made a strong impression with me. Also consider had they won the game what the Spread would be. Bit of toss up for the 2nd pick but I really like are the Lions @ +10.5, Favre has done nothing this year to impress, not he can't do the job, but perhaps the years are finally catching up with him.
Other Considerations - Packers @ -2.5, Rogers very impressive, should be another fine MNF game. Colts -5.5, what can I say its Peyton and lastly this one had me going back and forth all week. But I;m taking the Cowboys @=2.4 only because Schultzy did
