UL HC Kragthorpe (at Tulsa) is 2-0 ATS vs Mem HC West. This is a conf sandwich game for Memphis with EC on deck while UL returns home vs Mid Tenn. Louisville is off a bye while Memphis is off a Thurs night win over rival UAB.

Cincinnati - NY JETS Bretty and the Jets hit the Bye Week in dramatic
fashion when they disposed of the Cardinals, 56-35, two weeks ago. It marked the
fi rst time in QB Favre’s career that he tossed six touchdown passes in a game.
A deeper look inside the Flyboys’ numbers, though, tells a different story. It
seems this 2-2 squad has out gained only one opponent on the playing field
(Miami, by 16 yards) and is ranked 31st (2nd worst) in the league in pass
defense.

My key is the Bears laying 2.5 against the Dirty Birds. Bears are 4-0 ATS last four meetings and have won the last 8 of 9 in this match-up. Man-for-man, and strength of schedule both point to the Bears here, and outside of the numbers and trends, the Falcons need to establish a run, to alleviate the pressure, and have any chance at Ryan looking downfield at a questionable Roddy White on the play-action pass. Against 2 quality defenses (TB/Car), Turner has had only 42 and 56 yards respectively, while Ryan contributed a whopping 45% completion rate, 291 total passing yards (2 game total) with no TD passes. Bears win this handily.
Also, like the Jags taking 3.5 against the Broncos. With no Scheffler, Young, and possibly Eddie Royal, Cutler will rely almost exclusively on the second coming of Too-Tall Jones as a receiver, Brandon Marshall. Yes, he's a beast, however in these scenarios, Cutler locks in, and in the NFL, tunnel vision leads to turnovers. Jones-Drew and Taylor should have a big day against the Broncos 25th ranked run defense. Underdog is 4-0 ATS last four meetings.
Lastly, I know the sharps are playing Oakland +7.5, but how can you possibly call out the R-R-R-R-Raiders (sheepishly said)
on the road, possibly without McFadden? Colston will see action today, and quite simply, the Raiders don't have the weapons or the defense to keep Drew Brees and the Saints in check. While they likely WON'T pull a "Childress" and kick it to Bush all day, I see this one getting ugly for the rookie coach. Here's something - Brees has over 1000 more passing yards than Jamarcus Russell. 1000 yards!!! Big Brother Davis is watching... your days are numbered Mr.Cable!
