1500+ metres ............ 2.500 goals/game (12 games/30 goals)
1350-1395 metres ...... 2.285 goals/game (7 games/16 goals)
1300 & metres below .. 1.823 goals/game (17 games/31 goals) - drops to 1.500 minus the Portugal/DPK affair

6/23 USA vs Algeria at 1350 metres

6/23 Ghana vs Germany at 1750 metres

Great finish to the USA game, goal was started by another in a series of great "outlet passes" from the goalie, resulting in a "fast break" goal.

Probably analyse every match-up like Van? A lot of his readers will necessarily tail him but we learn a lot by just reading even the smallest of details. Sometimes that is more important than the prediction itself.

Not being an attention person in other people's threads would probably be a good start. Van has quite a following that has been built up from years of solid posts.

but it really sucks how both teams just shut it down
after the goal....after they heard the Austalia score, Ghana and Germany just played nice....hate that in any sport.....
