Saber, you aren't making predictions at all... you just sound a little jaded almost like an American not accepting the fact that OUR country is becoming better and better at the "beautiful game." Don't talk like America has no chance. America's defense is much more solid than that of England's. John Terry is very old and slow, and King hasn't played a lot on the back.
If the US can counter like they've done in the past and possibly get up earlier you won't see these young guys pack it in and sit on a lead, they'll go for a second. And Buddle and the other forwards may be young, but they're fast and don't realize the magnitude of this game. Mix that in with US enjoying playing in South Africa (Confederation Cup) and in the stadium (3-0 win vs Egypt) and we've got ourselves a game!

fizzle - i think the US will hold their own, but to say the young guys don't realize the magnitude of this game/World Cup is wrong. They may handle it ok, but trust me, these guys know how huge this game is.

I'm personally waiting for live betting. Not laying any juice on the crap lines. I might do Eng to score 1st goal, then 2nd goal. As well MIGHT take Eng +100 odds half time. I know England has had slow starts, but their movement of the ball is amazing, and I really can't see how the USA can fend them off for 45min in the first half. ENGLAND!!!!!
