 What part of Canada are you in?
I was stationed TDY at border just after 9/11, at Washington State/British Columbia border.

Stayed in Rossland, BC and had a BLAST.

Fished and hiked the Columbia River, natural hot springs in Castlegar, just a real beautiful place.
