Hey guys, I'm using the forum to track my UCL plays, the reason for the thread & as the title suggests without sounding too arrogant is to help my fellow peeps who don't follow the day-to-day ongoings of the domestic soccer calender & the European scale along with other factors. I'm having a vision of Paris holding the European Cup, I look at there squad and see no weaknesses, if Zlatan hits the heights as I expect then they have a good chance, I think its his year...I love Paris Saint Germain to win the Champions League 14/15, very good tactician in Laurent Blanc, Luiz will prove doubters wrong and form an formidable partnership with David Luiz.

Midfield is packed with talent, Cabaye, Verratti, Matuidi & Motta the much needed experience and anchor men required to win this kind of competition, plus they usually run away with there domestic league, Paris is excellent value.

I think Shakthar is an excellent choice, Bilbao have limited experience in this competition and travelling up Belarus & Ukraine won't do them any favors, Zenit look a different side under Boas and I love the value the books are giving them, blessed with attacking talent & the purchase of Garay they look set up to cause some damage, BOL boys.

Analysis:-Liverpool are back in the big time, I think a few nerves and no Sturridge will mean a more competitive game, Ludogorets will have there side packed, 11 men behind the ball making things hard for Liverpool, are 1-0 game here.Monaco are not a good team, Leverkusen are...defense may not be the best but still puts Monacos to shame, Bayer were disappointing last year but with the new manager I expect a well oiled machine out there Germans to win away from home.A.Madrid are set up well, draw most likely case as playing in Greece is much harder than it looks...small punt on Kasami kid looks a good shot and hes starting.Madrid have it in the bag, Benzema has a good record in this competition, paying a lot of juice but I see a 2-0 win here or 3-1 Basel can score against this leaky defense hence why I don&#x27;t like the -2.5 Madrid, Galaticos will want to show past results were just a blip.

I too think PSG may well be a team of destiny this season. I don't view Real or Bayern or any of the English teams as superior to them. Would love to egg those odds on Ibra being the scorer. He is the best player on the planet IMO.

Ice I expect goals in the game, I also think Akinfeev will perform better CSKA can score against them at home also, I heard the Germans were left outside in the cold in Moscow after a false fire alarm broke out in there hotel whatever advantage that gives CSKA I don't really know, both teams to score looks nice but I don't think Bayern will keep a clean sheet or win comfortably.

Hey just bumping in and sharing my football knowledge. Asa Dutchman I follow the European football every day. I would go for Barca, they have nice odds and PSG misses Ibra, which is a massive let down for that team. Secondly they are struggling in their domestic league and i watched the full game of Ajax agaisnt PSG and I was not impressed. Look at it from this side: the amount of money PSG paid for Luiz, equalizes the total turnover Ajax has in a season, and still PSG did not impress me.Now PSG is playing against a Barca team who is in form and they have to play a Classico in Octobre (26th) while the 22nd of Octobre they have to play in the champiosn league. This could be motivation for Barca to take the win so they can rest some players when they have to play against Ajax on the 22nd.Conclusion: Barca in form, PSG no Ibra = Barca will take it.
