from political perspective, don`t think russia wants to go there and win it at this time.

from fans side, should be very hostile as Sepahan 2 - 0 Zenit showed recently. very anti russian war and all .

Iran is 2nd best in asia and improving.

russia played some low level teams and have problems to score  they last game picked n9 is just awful , sobolev have like 1 goal in all competitions. chalov seems good thou.
