Good evening Gentlemen, its the first week in March so RPL is upon us once again. These last 10 tours should promise to be exciting and anyone of the leaders have great odds to finish the season as champions. Friday's matches should get us back into the action with Kuban visiting Volga and Krasnodar facing Amkar. Breakdowns and analysis to follow soon. Good luck to all.

Volga Nizhniy Novgorod vs. Kuban' Krasnodar

Volga was picking up some momentum after a loss to Zenit, closing out the first half with surprising draws to spartak rubin and terek before closing out the year on a high note with a gritty 1-0 win against Lokomotiv. They will look to try to prevent Kuban' from getting comfortable but i believe it is a matter of time before Kuban' breaks through and puts a few in the net. Both teams have new head coaches but Kuban' players should feel confident in defeating a team they have had their way with the last few meetings. Kuban' have a chance to snatch a Europa league berth as they sit in 4th place. They will have to take care of inferior opponents like Volga to get there. Dont see many goals being scored here.

Krasnodar vs. Amkar Perm

This is somewhat of a tricky one.. Amkar is completely unpredicatable and as i have mentioned before you can never tell how motivated they will be. both teams have strengthened themselves during the winter break and should be ready to come out and play. previous 2 meetings ended 2-2 draws. Im told the field is in good shape and weather won't be much of a factor as Krasnodar is further south and enjoys better weather right now than most of Russia. I dont like a side as krasnodar moneyline has little value. this might end in another draw but i would play both teams to score if i had the option.

Dinamo Moskva vs. Lokomotiv Moskva

This is probably the match of the day tomorrow. Still too early for me i will definitely be sleeping through it lol. Over the break while i was in Moscow my cousin told me she is close with one of the Lokomotiv player and his wife so I'm supposed to get an autographed ball with the players signatures haha. Both are in a similar situation at the middle of the table. Dinamo has won its last 5 premier league matches and have looked solid in friendly play if it matters. Petrescu knows how to play for results and will not be content with giving up any points to a team right above them in the standings. Teams are pretty even and i see a hard fought result. Odds point to a low scoring game. Going with my gut here so playing this small.

Krylya Sovetov vs. CSKA Moskva

Anyone who has followed CSKA in the past will be glad to hear the Love is back... Vagner Love that is. The Brazilian is one of CSKA's most celebrated strikers and has completed a transfer from Flamengo where he played the 2012 season. This gives the league leaders an even deadlier lineup tomorrow. Krylya simply wont be able to keep up with the Armymen. I have to agree with the consensus and say CSKA will win by a large margin. Heres some more statistics to show how inadequate the Wings are: 12 out of 19 games conceding 2 or more goals, only 1 clean sheet this season, 4 games since scoring a home goal, 8 games since a home win. Those numbers up against the strongest CSKA team i have seen in years does not bode well for the home dogs.

Alaniya Vladikavkaz vs. FC Rostov

First of all this is the type of game i highly advise to stay away from unless you really have nothing better to do at 9 in the morning. One of the crappiest teams in the league at home as a -200 favorite against a team not that much better than it. Anything could happen. The line only debuted about 2 hours ago for me. I heard a few mentions of this being fixed but with the match fixing specialists up the Russian leagues arse i would have to say theres little chance of it. Alaniya has had some bad luck but have added a player or two over the break i believe. Rostov is a bit more reliable but still only able to feast on those weaker than themselves, this should be a prime example. I dont expect a high scoring game and a draw is very possible in my eyes. my wager here is strictly for s.hits and giggles.

Thanks sz, i was going to play dinamo/loko over .5/1 first half but at -140 decided not to. Tommorow some good matches
